I will be. Although to be fair I've been on holiday for almost two weeks now so its the first home game I'll have chance to get to anyway. I'd imagine there's a few others like me so that coupled with some good form is bound to have a positive effect on attendances.

You have to admit 10k in league 2 would be impressive.
Personally I expect us to win this league and the first two results have given us the perfect start.
I will go next week and take a look expecting another win. Many passive supporters will be thinking the same I suspect.

Us being top with a 100% record and no goals conceded will really disappoint those posters on the Cov Telegraph site, sheep and the other moaning miserable hatefilled fuckers.

Currently out country...will miss next weeks game but as we st holders we will count in numbers.
Crowd will grow whilst we are winning and especially if there is a positive buzz around the club.
For me the resigning of Doyle could well be inspirational.

Wasn't a dig at Mowbray here. Was just pointing out that Robins is a whole different kettle of fish and I honestly don't think we will ever see a Mowbray esque astonishing slump from Robins.
And anyway, as you very well know, you very naughty man, I never ever said Mowbray was the worst of all time. :dead:
I think if we have any kind of slump with Robins it will be quickly rectified, something Mowbray was unable to do here when things started going wrong.
I liked Mowbray when he was here for the most part, but would say I feel so much more confident with the much more grounded Robins.
Promotion here we come!!!

Not sure Scunthorpe fans would agree.
Anything is possible. This is CCFC after all. Wouldn't necessarily make him hero to zero just as it shouldn't have with Mowbray. Sometimes you ride your luck and sometimes you have no luck. You can only judge a season on balance as it is a marathon not a sprint and on balance we had our best season in a decade. We started strong and finished strong. If the results had have been more evenly distributed nobody would have suggested otherwise. You're judging on one period of the season in isolation and ignoring two others.

You are hard to please. We have scored 5 goals and only had 1 shot on target against us. And that was a comfortable save. The teams we have beat have won their other game by 2 goals.
And we are top of the table with a 2 point gap already. The nearest to us is 2 points and a GD of 3 behind us.

I ain't saying he's proving himself there. Just pointing out that if we won a game 2-1 had a good first half was a goal up and cruising, started the second half badly getting no play and conceded but came back in the last 20 minutes to score you wouldn't be judging the game on the start of the second half, you'd be judging it overall. Yes you'd consider the slump but it wouldn't be the overriding factor. The end result should be the same for a season and over the whole season we did well. Could have been better but we did well.
Point stands on Robins though. He's not immune to slumps as his time at Scunthorpe and Huddersfield prove. The other comparison we can directly make between Robins and Mowbray is the pedestal sections of fans are already putting him on two games in. We'll lose games in the league yet I just hope these fans can handle that. People let themselves get carried away with accolades. Great we've won our first two games and won them well, who's not going to take that as a positive. But the fact is there is a long long way to go yet. Some teams will get better as the season goes on, some will get worse, players get injured, players fall out of form etc. Yes we're firing on all cylinders at the moment but to assume we won't have a slump at some point from a manager who does have a history of slumps (not as bad as Mowbray I'll give you that but it's there as it is with all managers) is a big assumption and setting up the table of disappointment perfectly. Plenty had us won the league by October once before. The pattern is already repeating. The season is a marathon not a sprint. Robins is a good manager and most importantly a good fit for CCFC. But he ain't superman.

What Robins has done is brought in his own players. He has got rid of the deadwood. He seems to have improved the players already here that he has kept. They are playing as a team and not individuals. He didn't aim too high like Mowbray did. He hasn't brought in shite like Mowbray did. We already have more points this season after 2 games under Robins than we had under Mowbray after 10 games.
You need to get over the Mowbray thing. He is a big reason why we got relegated. And now he has had a similar start with Blackburn.
We all know that we could have a bad run at some stage. We should expect one. We are Coventry City. It happens every season. But personally I think we have the best manager in this Division. And I also think that we have the best squad. It is ours to lose. That doesn't mean that we won't lose it.
But it is looking good. 2 games. 2 wins. The two teams we have beat both won their other game by 2 goals. Only had 1 shot on target against us so far. Jones is terrorising the defences. Our opponents supporters have been full of praise for him. We have Duck and Andreu to play when fit as well.
I feel confident like I have never felt before. We even have a GK who isn't a wage thief. Robins isn't perfect. But he is much better than Mowbray.
