Irrelevant what Hoffman thinks. No evidence that SISU are prepared to entertain any bid for the club.

The veey idea that anyone with sense would part with more than a million quid for a L2 football team with no assets is beyond laughable. 20 million??? Some people must be dreaming.
Was it you that said you would bare your ass in Broadgate if true about this rumour ?

I doubt whether he was paid to create a false dossier. He was originally paid by a republican, but that ended when Trump was nominated. Trump is under investigation for collusion with a foreign power. Whether the Dems were paying for dirt on Trump - not a fabrication, but actual dirt ( whether they got what they paid for or not is not the point ) - doesn't alter the fact that all the intelligence services believe the Russians were involved in the election and a load of facts about Russian connections which had been kept quiet by the Trump campaign are now coming out. Don’t fall into the trap of making excuses for the disgusting creature known as 45. He has just reached another all time low in approval ratings and the dems are leading by 15 points according to a Fox News poll.

Two republicans have now come out against what he is doing to the USA and the Republican Party. They cannot stand being associated with the man.

The clown is smashing everything that the USA stood for. Western values out of the window. To make matters worse Bannon is trying to drive the old republicans out of the party and replace them with populist and extreme conservatives. If he succeeds America will fall apart. They may as well call themselves a NAZI party, but they will of course leave the word socialist out of the title, which even Hitler didn’t risk doing. The National Party. All white, all business and pure selfish nationalism. Will all end in tears - as with the Nazis.

I think you will find 9mill was paid to create the dossier. All media outlet have come out aswell as another investigation started about Fusion gps. The 2 that have came out against Trump are a retiring senator and another who had a low % popularity rating in his own state and was never going to win his primary. Now McCain is another who maybe involved but it will all fall when the fbi agent who couldn't talk to the public today got the right to testify without procicussion. He knows and has tapes, recordings and copies of meetings involving all the players including Clinton and Barack.

So although I don't like how Trump acts, when the opposition admitted today they paid for the dossier things are not going to turn out well for Dnc. Time will prove who was colluding with Putin. But 145 mill into a Clinton foundation does not go away as easy with Trump pointing.

They would spending 12 million on a golden share, the first team squad, the academy and future payments due from people like Maddison, Wilson, Sambou, the Man Utd lad.
That’s about it really. Nothing else of value.

£12m???? Time for bed Dongo!

After Brexit, Trump was an inevitable outcome, well that and Clinton being a complete mess. Trump is no angel but Clinton was never on moral ground to spout to people about him on anything, she is still a massive part of the corrupt establishment and is in falling deeper in shit everyday with her husband and Mr clean "my arse" Barack.

What a random thread to out yourself as an idiot.

Random? I replied to someone posting a takeover would be a shock as Brexit and Trump supposedly was, which I see you didn't add that, Shock.

So i didn't start it just gave my opinion on one of those two events not being a shock to me.

As for the idiot comment, not really necessary and says more about you than me, debate what you disagree with but ridicule not knowing me is pretty typical of a certain few on here that play on words on a regular basis.

Hoffman confirms he HAS been talking to Dale and has sufficient evidence that Dale has the funds.

HOWEVER, he doesn't seem too happy about the way Dale is going about things.

I don't think any of us are. It's great if he DOES have the money, but he's still been talking crap about meetings and things being so far down the line etc.

No, neither.

I must admit that he speaks a lot better than he acts on Facebook. I would rather it all goes quiet now and he lets Hoffman and Co try and sort something.

Exactly what needs to happen. A sit down, a negotiation and no wild claims on social media.

You could even say that Evans now needs to keep a poker face.

Hoffmann also says he cannot do anything while the legals are going on. There cannot be a deal if that is true. Back to where we were until the appeal of the appeal has been heard.

"I have spoken to him several times. As with all of us in the consortium, we need to provide proof of funds.

"I won’t reveal what I have seen but it is enough to suggest he is serious. We welcome him into the consortium.

I wonder what he has seen? SURELY something more than the rogue statement from bet365?

It seems that Dale Evans is the real deal.
Is that the sound of reverse gears I can hear?
I am pleased he has joined up with the others and hopefully we can focus on the ball not the man for a few days.

I’ve now got a mental picture of that Harry Enfield character waving wads of notes about!!

It's not just about the money though, Riyadh. He has been disingenuous with what he has said. If he had just come out with the fact that he had the money and wanted to buy the football club he wouldn't have got half as much shit.

So much of what he has said has been proved to be untrue.

I can't second guess his reasoning but I can state that you are calling him a liar and maybe that is a tad harsh, perhaps he has been caught up in the moment and expressed himself in a way that others perceive as wrong?
Now that he has been accredited as part of the "big boys club" he will be afforded some respect which has been lacking to date?
Believe me when I say that if Hoffman had stated he was a joker Evans would have deserved every kick he would have got but to be dismissed because he was unorthodox struck me as a) unfair b) jealous c) fearful(that their beloved Sisu days are numbered?)
Now that the noise should die down I hope Evans will fade in to the background but I must admit I am delighted he has been validated.

He said he had spoken to Mark Hornby. He hadn't. He said he was down the line with a takeover of the club. He wasn't.

Might be worth a revisit of what he said on the radio to Clive Eakin. So much of what he said just simply wasn't true.

Right, you state I am calling him a liar. I am just listening back to the Sky Blues Phone-in on CWR last Friday. 6pm.

I quote Dale Evans. 'The principles of initially buying the club have gone fairly well so far with my initial talks with Mark Hornby. The initial contract or talks I have had with Mark Hornby himself have gone very, very well.'

So which part of that isn't pure bullshit?

'I've got my wealth manager who's in direct contact with Mark Hornby himself from lunchtime today. We've spoken about what the initial costs are going to be to purchase the club outright. We have enough money to buy the football club outright (remember, this is before he had even contacted Gary Hoffman). The only stumbling block we've got at the moment is getting hold of ACL.'

I stopped there because that is just the beginning. At this point he is just starting to talk about the offer having been put to Tim Fisher and Fisher supposedly getting back to him that same day.

'I have got a meeting booked with Tim Fisher, from Tuesday, Wednesday, hopefully confirmed tomorrow for me. '

'We've already had discussions about what Sisu would like for figures within the club itself, how much they are willing to sell for and we have more than matched that already. '

'My wealth manager, through Barclay's bank has already been in touch with the club to verify funding. '
At that point he asks for Gary Hoffman's number.

Oh look, you are trying to say people like sisu again. It's almost as if I said that you are trying to push that line yesterday. "Beloved sisu". As I said then, it's pretty predictable and you have confirmed it.

Has the takeover gone through now? Have all of his claims so far been validated then?

Do you want to go through and explain all of the massive contradictions? You seem overly desperate for him to be believed. Or are you just going to just make out people love sisu for mentioning the bloke has made things up and contradicted himself multiple times?

The way Hoffman is speaking is that they need to open comms up with Sisu again. That means no offer has been accepted.

I think there is a long road ahead still and Sisu aren't leaving anytime soon.

What a saga over the last week just for someone to join a consortium that may still fail to get the club from Sisu.

Yup.

I hope for Hoffman's sake all he'd do is provide some cash and offer no input. Otherwise having him on board could be a massive misjudgement and do more harm than good.

Hoffman once thought sisu were the real deal - his mate Elliot said they were great people to do business with. Also thought the publicity seeking Haskell actually wanted to buy the club. Forgive me but I’m not seeing any reverse gears just another PR stunt

If Hoffmann is waiting for the legals to be over, there is more than enough time for him to change his mind. Maybe his wealth adviser will find something else for him to invest in.
