Yeah, I did mean to mention that, but forgot.
And that TV show with the Irish actor, Joe Lynch. It was called "Never Mind the Quality, Feel the Width". Broadcast in the late 60's and very funny. It was about a Jewish and Irish pair of tailors as business partners. Very older posters (like me!) should remember that one.

If we're cancelled I wouldn't vote for them, but at least I'd stop laughing at them for a little while.

Age is certainly a cruel and undiscriminating thing.
I was just watching some of the moments of George HW Bush's memorial service (on the BBC site).
His son, also an ex-President, gave a moving eulogy.
The thing that got me is that the son now looks really old.
And I can remember his father looking young!

That's upset me more than anyone lately.

Saw Buzzcocks live three times and Pete Shelley when he did his solo show.

Can't believe that.

I've had a tear in my eye ever since I first heard last night.

So many great songs, so many memories.

This is amongst my very most favourite Pete Shelly songs.

Beautiful.

Here's a question the youngsters won't understand.
Was Noise Annoys a single or was is a B side?

Genuinely upset about this. Pete and the Buzccocks first got me into music. Saw "Love You More" on TOTP in Aug 78; I was 12. Stopped getting Shoot (Incorporating Goal) and started getting the NME. Bought all their stuff and his stuff. A genuine hero of mine.

You aren't a hero of mine now that you stopped getting Shoot magazine. Probably traded your football stickers for a guitar.

Same here, Torch.

I already had a band, but upon hearing the Buzzcocks I wanted to be the Buzzcocks and sound like the Buzzcocks.

This has upset me so much and my daughter had to come over and console me this morning when she saw me crying.

Such a lovely bloke too.

Will be very sorely missed.
