This world is fucked.
You of course realise that this and the similar tweets are the daily count of the rockets fired on Israel.
(I'm certainly not making a case for the Israeli response).

I'm not here to argue the toss. Just think a state tweeting emojis of rockets is a good fucking barometer of how fucked the situation is.You of course realise that this and the similar tweets are the daily count of the rockets fired on Israel.

Well...
Also quite an interesting/harrowing read on the forum of The Football Ramble, who has one member from Palestine and reporting on what’s happening over there - The Football Ramble Forum | The *new* International Politics (& society) thread
But then the problem with that argument is that when you’re underqualified to speak on it in detail, as I am, you worry about overlapping with the genuine anti-Semitic cranks that exist on the left and so the easier solution on a personal level is to stay silent, which is of course an entirely unhelpful position to take.
There’s no good guys in this latest round of trouble between Israel and Palestinian. These tweets prove that. It’s about time that the international community started arms embargo’s on rogue states like Israel and Saudi Arabia. We have an arms embargo with Myanmar largely because of humanitarian atrocities why not Israel and Saudi Arabia.
This makes me feel so ashamed of my country."Handcuffed, detained, denied medicine: EU citizens’ UK border ordeals | Immigration and asylum | The Guardian" Handcuffed, detained, denied medicine: EU citizens’ UK border ordeals | Immigration and asylum | The Guardian
He's the definition of a Weasel/Backstabber.
Germany doesn’t need to appease the US and Saudi Arabia. They extended their arms embargo to Saudi for another 12 months last December and they’ll review it again then. They’ve done this specifically on Saudi’s involvement in Yemen. Why can’t we take the same stance?Whilst I'm not sure you can compare to Myanmar, the answer would be because US and Saudi Arabia are world powers who we need to appease. Our stopping sales to Israel would make no difference whatsoever, though as a point of principle we should, that principle being less about the use of the arms than Israel's expansionist policy, itself driven by the US.
That bodes well for drug prices for the NHS then. TAKING BACK CONTROL!Because we are a colony of the US ('special relationship'), and therefore also SA. Also, we don't make cars and washing machines - the Germans have corned that market.

Don't know if anyone has seen this, but it flashed up on twitter last night.
It's horrifying to be honest.

Shouldnt be hard to get that Snapchat act and find them surely? Disgusting.
I want to meet the people that consider both themselves and Nigel Farage wokeSome interesting stuff there.
One that pops out at me is that those who consider themselves woke appear to view their position on racial equality and sexual orientation as being much more of an altered state of conscious than those who feel that it is part of everyday consciousness; and that actions such as taking away the voice of those who express alternative positions are considered by those professing to be woke as not reducing wakefulness.
Surprised that only half of those professing not to be work thought that the Guardian was woke - I'd thought the figure would have been off the scale.
