It wasn't addressed to me so I wasn't answering his question.

I was just pointing out that it's a non story.

So we go back to Barnard castle and Dominic Cummings. That’s a non story then?

The story is the bullshit he sat in the garden at the press conference and regurgitated. It was pathetic. The fact that they come up with it in the first place and then must have said it out loud and at no point did anyone say we can’t say that ridiculous childish bullshit in public. It’s also basically been rinse and repeat since then.

Apparently, Johnson is going to be in Rwanda when the by-election results are going to be announced, or close to it. Let's hope he can't get a flight back.

Could explain why everyone has got the hots for it. Disgraceful actions all round.

I think one of the issues here is the shelf-life of Johnson has been dramatically reduced, so they are all positioning themselves to be the next Prime-minister without leaping first. Those that leap first or show that they are acting independently of everyone else have never done well in Tory leadership election contests. I guess this means they are all towing the party line, no matter how batshit crazy it is.

What a waste of fuel as well if the government have a load going spare they can send some to me as I am on empty (I know aviation fuel won’t be much good to me)
Waste of money and waste of fuel.

Remember all those earnest words during the COP conference about the environment. All forgotten now, as that was just something to be seen to get through at the time rather than a crisis that should be number one on all Governments' priorities. We just lurch from one crisis to another with no coherent strategy on anything.

Ha ha... Tea Sock.....thats funny.

To be honest, I don't really get why she (and every other Brit) don't just refer the the Taoiseach as the Irish Prime Minister.......

We don't call the German Chancellor " Bundeskanzlerin" do we?

...and the Germans actually do speak German, whereas the Irish dont speak Irish/Gaelic......

...So lets just go with "Prime Misnister of Ireland".........or "Irish Tea sock".

Wages down 2.2% year on year in real terms.

The party of economic competence. 12 years in government and still wages are below where they were in 2008.

Fair point. didn't think of it like that.

I reckon I only actually became (consciously) aware that Taoiseach was the official title during Varadkars time of office I think.......

...means "chief" apparently....

I think it's very much a symbol of Irish independence from the UK that it is the term used in English and Irish. Though I agree it does seem something that has come to the fore more recently, for example I can't recall Bertie Ahern being described as anything but the Irish Prime Minister.

In fact, just checked the BBC live report of the signing of the GFA and he's introduced as the Prime Minister: BBC News Report on Good Friday Agreement - YouTube

Tell us again about the party of financial competence that is willing to spend more on ‘making a point’ than they would have given in benefits for each person for at least 5 years…

Didn't you hear that it's about 'establishing a principle' not 'making a point.

Bear in mind that £100k for each asylum seeker just covers the cost of the flight to Rwanda. Of course we mustn't forget to add to that the £120 million start up fee we are giving to Rwanda. This is going to prove to be a costly mistake financially, as well as a humanitarian catastrophe. If only we had asked the Australians how it had worked for them, but no this is not a Government that likes to learn.

Also they keep saying it is a deterrent but then say Rwanda is a nice and safe country with fine human rights. So which is it?

You'll upset those who have the right to be upset with common sense remarks..

Grendel will point out and he’d be correct that the majority of the British public agree with it

By a very small amount as per polling figures

And it's economically illiterate as it'll just increase illegal immigration and the shadow economy as why try and do things the right way if it can end up in this?

Brutal and pointless
