Aw diddums, someone holding your boys in blue to account and you don't like it

Oh dear. It seems the crèche is closed today and you are out early

Can’t you get your toy tanks and spend the day chatting to yourself on the ukraine thread and leave this one for adults for a change?

Incredibly it seems a video where the candidate hardly features but somebody narrates over some flag waving is enough to send her into pole position with the membership.

Whose second?

A video that has to keep being edited because they've used clips without permission, its the kind of attention to detail that stands you out as a future PM. Interestingly the shots of Portsmouth, where she is an MP, are all from Portsmouth South, which is Labour :D

Wow creche jokes, a bit more original than school jokes I guess

I posted that Labour are tabling a motion of no confidence. Do you not think that is worthy of discussion?

And I'm not surprised you've left the Ukraine thread after embarrassing yourself multiple times over.

I thought it was stuff like this that really won the voters over

How the hell have the Tories managed to do this with all the austerity and cutting back the 'expensive' state. The party of good financial governance...maybe in fiction only.

I wonder where all the money has gone..

I saw a graph yesterday of annual spending on the NHS.

Just a constant decline year on year from 2010 onwards.

Can’t possibly imagine what happened in 2010.

Never mind all the scandals, it’s stuff like that that should be enough for people to say time to these out of office

it's because their policies reduce the tax take and increase non discretionary spending

I take it you've not actually looked into the 2019 polling. No problem

Again you are trying to be angry about something that doesn’t exist

Javid vs hunt or shapps he would win very easily - given the party you support is a bastion of white and predominantly male representatives in key positions I think you need to look closer to home for what you are seeking

Of the 65 ethnic minority Members, 41 (63%) are Labour and 22 are Conservatives (34%).

That’s hardly supporting the argument is it? Ethnics and women can get in the Labour Party but if you want a crack at the top job be a Tory?
Well Labour have more women and ethnic minorities on their front bench but I suspect the dinosaur "Labour should represent the working man" attitudes hold Labour back.
You only have to read this thread to see "old fashioned" attitudes to women are still prevalent on the left. And the idea that "red wall" voters wont want Lammy, Abbott etc

“ethnics”

sigh

I was going to say a few token black faces to make the party look inclusive - should I have said that?

Interestingly if the claim is their is greater ethnic (ooh) composition on the front bench very few are included on the photo shoot on the website. Why?

Dorries and Rees-Mogg expected to back Truss at the same time and around the corner from Sunak launching his campaign. It’s starting to look like I’m not Sunak is going to be the Truss ticket, not exactly setting her apart.

You really are ridiculous

Flag waving appeals to your previous red wall even Starmer isn’t stupid enough not to realise he has to have a Union Jack next to him whenever he is photographed - if you ran the Labour Party they’d get less votes than the monster raving looney party - you’d alienate key voters in a second

Not sure that’s right if you’re implying what I think you are BSB. I remember seeing polling where Sunak was most popular amongst the members until NIC increase and his wife’s tax issues

Edit - Grendel beat me to it
I'd like to test it at some point. Plus Sunak's about the only one not promising tax cuts for the sake of it!

ethnic is fine, calling a group of people “ethnics” is, um, not.

The only person banging on about peoples ethnicity is you here. I seem to remember you not being a massive fan of black Labour front bench members when they were prominent.

But sure, the party of Windrush and islamophobia is the woke party and the one of race relations and equality acts isn’t.

Actually it was BSB who mentioned it and I won’t be taking any lectures regarding what’s acceptable from a brexiteer who didn’t want an influx of dirty Eastern European’s and then magically saw the light when his junior school child told him what to do

Well if I ever come across such a person I’ll warn them.
