Do you want to discuss boring politics? (20 Viewers)

The threshold to be called 'far right' seems to always be much higher. Like you have to be in Nick Griffin or Britain First territory, whereas to be called hard left you have to not want Mick Lynch ritually sacrificed on train tracks

So would centrism be wanting to ritually sacrifice Nick Griffin on the train tracks?

I see he said that Mordaunt was 'popular in Scotland and with young people'. Genuinely who had heard of her before this week?

really? She’s been an obvious candidate for months

None of my Tory friends who are about half your age have mentioned her in that time. So where the 'popular with young people' talk comes from I don't know. And no Tory has been popular in Scotland since Ruth Davidson's resignation

Yes, “ethnics” is an outdated and condescending term, so best not to use that.

Oh I did - are you sending me to a special place for some programming?

No, but I’m sure you wouldn’t want to come across as outdated, condescending or ignorant when it comes to talking about race, so just passing along the advice you asked for!

I don't think shmmeee thinks much of him either and he's not exactly hard left

He’s a means to an end. With no obvious replacement and us ahead in the polls he can stay. Once he doesn’t have that benefit he can fook off. But to win elections Labour will need to be around the centre whoever leads them.

Well to become trusted by the public he might sometimes have to give his opinion on the issues of the day. Which he seems to find difficult.

I don’t think I asked for advice thanks certainly not from someone like you

The notion and the implication is that I am racist and I have a problem with immigrunts - not taking kindly to that I’m afraid

tbh, take Iraq away (and I appreciate that's a big thing to ignore) and the main complaint against Blair was he didn't do much in the way of progressive policy during his second term, which also had a large enough majority to actually stamp something onto the country.

I see the use of the underpants meme whooshed right over your head there.

Did your daughter share that with you? Is she in senior school now? Wow down with the kids bro

And yet still on to win a majority one term after the biggest post war defeat. I’m sure that’ll narrow if the Tories don’t shit the bed, but with only Streeting and Nandy waiting in the wings I’m not sure what you want?

The best thing Labour could do is sack the PR people and start again, otherwise whoever's leader will come across the same... or mad.

I don’t think anyone know what the message is aside from the SCG where it’s been the same message since 1974. But yeah the generally advice has been awful.

Well if you’re concerned about coming across that way, my advice would certainly be a good place to start! 👍

It is still not too late for most of WM Labour to cross the floor and launch their Tory leadership campaign.
