More like it was starting to look like hard work.Wait. Did he drop out … for the good of the party??
There's been a lot of dumb things posted on this thread, most of them from twitter, but that has to be up there as the dumbest.Guys, the Tories haven't actually been in charge for 12 years. I think it's about time they got a chance to govern.
His get out is the Tories barely had a majority for the past 12 years. Problem is when they didn’t have a majority they were markedly better than they have been since they’ve had a majority. Even under May they were more effective at governing. I don’t think that is the defence he thinks it is.Guys, the Tories haven't actually been in charge for 12 years. Nope.Wait. Did he drop out … for the good of the party??
What about the other countries? It looks a bit selective. Is that you Tony ?!. There might be a small part but probably tiny in grand scheme of things
This was on a finance programme I saw the other day (im a dull man I know !) I think France and Spain are around 7-8% due to government assistance/suppression of energy costs. I’ve not fact checked but recognise the Holland and Germany numbers

Wtaf these people live and breathe amongst usWhat a wonderfully diverse audience.
What about the other countries? It looks a bit selective.
They should but they won't and I would be amazed if the rhetoric changes. It's shameful. When are the Tories going to take responsibility for what their demonisation of asylum seekers results in?
Dover migrant centre attack driven by right-wing ideology - police
Andrew Leak threw up to three incendiary devices at the site in Dover, Kent, last Sunday.www.bbc.co.uk
Gavin Williamson a bully and Sunak appointed him a minister anyway. Same old Tories.

Not just that but he was absolutely terrible in all his other Cabinet roles. Sacked for criminal incompetence at the MoD and so bad as Education minister that even Johnson had to let him go.
Sir Gavin please Tony
i'd say the 2nd as any bounce he had was at best tinySee the latest polling has Labour up again and Sunak just below Starmer in best PM. Blip or honeymoon over?
He’s got to have some serious shit on some people. He just sounds like a nasty piece of work….chief whip is the only role for him (if he’s got to be around cabinet at all)
That's certainly the feeling regarding his inexplicable ability to fuck everything up repeatedly and somehow stick around. He’s got to have some serious shit on some people.
I'm always slightly dubious of the unemployment figures, seems to be regular changes to how they're measured and not sure they really allow you to make much of a comparison. You can be on a zero hours contact barely getting any hours and be classed as employed as far as the figures go.Genuine question. Is there a single metric of success that has gone up under the Tories? Just one?
Edit: unemployment I guess? Though they did take over just after a global recession.

Like you say, it depends on how you measure it with things like zero hours contracts screwing the data. When you quote the employment rates zero hours contracts should be quoted hand in hand as should the amount of people working who claim in work benefits at it tells you a lot about the quality of employment in the UK.I'm always slightly dubious of the unemployment figures, seems to be regular changes to how they're measured and not sure they really allow you to make much of a comparison. The different sets of figures, unemployment, employment, payrolled, economically inactive etc don't always seem consistent with each other.
For example in the latest figures the employment rate fell but the number of payrolled employees and self employed rose
I see another one of Boris’ madcap vanity projects has been dumped. The Royal Yacht is no more. Was set to cost at least £250M. Wonder if it’s already cost us millions without happening like most of his hare-brained ideas.
He's a fucking idiot, to be fair. There's been a lot of dumb things posted on this thread, most of them from twitter, but that has to be up there as the dumbest.
Brexit bus wanker too.Red briefcase wanker
Could do worse than stop HS2
H2O?Think a watered down version is already been discussed though I've no idea what that entails
its seems to mean finishing the bit connected to London and then abandoning the rest of the project.Think a watered down version is already been discussed though I've no idea what that entails
