The arseholes have trashed the country - even the Italian economy outperforms it these days ffs.Why are we the only G7 country thats economy hasn't returned to pre pandemic levels?
Why does no one ask these cunts when they trot out this bullshit?
I wouldn't hold your breath. Unless one of them goes turncoat and criticises the Tories in which case the full weight of the law will be brought down upon them.O'Mara gets 4 years, good.
Let's hope the PPE fraudsters are convicted and get sentences that reflect The amounts of public money they stole.
no crayon left uneaten
They just can't help themselves.Beautiful. They're going to be out of office for years at this rate.
They just can't help themselves.
Have the constituency boundary changes already been approved for the next GE?I actually have a bit of a tin foil hat theory.
They know they're going to lose the next election, but apparently what they fear most is a hung parliament because the libs would insist on PR as part of any deal and that would fuck them over massively in the long term.
So I'm not saying there's a plan to gey mullered but I wouldn't be surprised if there are grandees in the party who would normally squash this sort of carry on but are just letting it slide.

both parties are selecting based on current boundaries it seemsI don't think they've been decided yet, though there's plenty of time to rubber stamp them before the next GE
So we narrowly avoided recession then.
Funny thing is that yesterday at a parliamentary select committee meeting the Governor of the Bank of England was being grilled and the Tory MP on that committee was framing their questions in a manner that the current economic is all the fault of the BOE. Wake up this morning and Hunt is all over the TV claiming credit for the current economic climate. A quarter of stagnation is now a success story for the UK.
Problem is the BOE like all central banks is a reactionary organisation. It’s not as simple as saying that they were late. Something happens and they then react. They’re also constrained by political pressure, they’re not truly independent and they were very definitely under political pressure to keep interest rates low as it was the only driver of investment. The country couldn’t afford a crash in the housing market especially.BoE were late dealing with inflation, as all central banks were and have semi admitted it (nobody foresaw the war though to be fair). Keeping rates around zero/one and carrying on printing money well into last year was a massive error
Hunt/sunak did take action to clear up Truss’ mess, which has no doubt helped with inflation and settle things down. Challenge for them is what next…without wanting to sound like truss’ lot (god forbid !)…where’s the growth plan
Yeah, worth noting that growth can also be large public spending projects - doesn't have to be just cutting taxes for the sake of it!without wanting to sound like truss’ lot (god forbid !)…where’s the growth plan

They weren’t really constrained during 2022 though. They totally misjudged inflation and then a bad situation was made a lot worse by the war. BOE Chief economist warned them in summer 2021

The only inflation he needs to worry about is the right side of his head the lop sided c**t
So it hasn't been the fault of various groups of people wanting to put the country down then?Well, well, well

I bet some tory buffoon tried to trot out that line.
Time for them to get on with delivering what was promised.
Still hanging onto the unicorn though “brexit would eventually prove to be the right decision”.Well, well, well

According to the Mail being against this is left wing snobbery
The problem is in the time frames they say Brexit will prove to be the right decision, it'll be well-nigh impossible to prove if it was Brexit or not that made it so.In time they might be proven correct, I have my doubts, but they didn't say that at the time.
They should have been delivering from day one, that's what was promised.
If they can't deliver, they should do as Brighton says and call a GE.
Yep as well as being complete toshThe problem is in the time frames they say Brexit will prove to be the right decision, it'll be well-nigh impossible to prove if it was Brexit or not that made it so.
