Starmer has achieved one thing to be fair - the greatest gathering of centrist dads since Fathers4Justice was at their peak.

I will say that I don't think any of you are bad guys at all. I know it's all coming from a good place.

I just think your stance on Corbyn is fucking nuts. You think my stance on Starmer is fucking nuts. That's fine, it's cool👍🏻

I don't actually. What this comes down to is what people think is a better use of Starmer's time. I think it should be hammering the government on things that a lot of people are concerned about in the here and now.

Dragging up Corbyn's name when he is clearly yesterday's news and is clearly still respected in his own constituency, seems a waste of time and resources. It also sets a precedent for the party executive to overrule local Labour members and constituents in choosing their own candidate.

You don't get it, it's not about Corbyn at all, it's about the politics he represents. They've been killed off for good with Corbyn used as the rationale. We're back to third way drivel and the further decline of this country.

It's a bizarre move from Starmer really - the public understand well enough by now that the party under his leadership is nothing like it was under Corbyn.

Aside from Starmer not being Corbyn and not being a Tory, what are the selling points of his Labour party? What are they offering? When are they going to tell us?
It wasn’t just starmer

Then you should be twice as angry at Corbyn for fucking it for a generation TBH. The left fumbled the ball when their moment came. Well see where Starmer ends up, but I’m willing to bet it’s better than the last 13 years.

Seriously grow up, you honestly believe it is all about Corbyn?

Actually, explain to me based on more than just hope or conjecture why you believe Starmer will be better than the last 13 years? Please refer to the parameters set by his shadow chancellor including her incorporation of capital spending into her "fiscal rules"?

So why didn't Ed Miliband fumble the centrist ball?

I still wouldn’t be surprised if Starmer manages to mess things up and ends up losing the election.
I wouldn’t be surprised but thus far Sunak had no new manager bounce, no Windsor agreement/getting brexit done again bounce, no Boris exposed beyond doubt (for morons) as a liar bounce and no I didn’t crash the economy with a budget bounce.

I think the truth is (or at least so far) the millionaire Rishi Sunak can’t convince morons that he’s a man of the people like Boris can.

I see the Mails front page is we’re going to put immigrants on cruise ships. What’s the betting the government doesn’t know that Rwanda is land locked and they’re thinking that they’ll sail them there ;)

Trying to work out how it’s going to be cheaper?
It’s not but it will be worse and make it harder to disappear is the argument I suppose
And the mantra of illegal migrants when there’s no legal route just pisses me off

Braverman's latest great idea is to fine beggars £1000

I thought that had to be a joke. Quick google and it isn’t. What is the point of it. If you’re living on the street and hungry how is a fine going to deter you. It isn’t. If she’s got time and energy to dream this shit up she’s got time to think of ways to address the causes. I know which one would be a better use of her time.

All about deterrent not support
It’s the Tory way always been that way always will be
You’ve had all the chances to be successful so you should pay and not expect others to bail you out
Unless you’re one of us
It’s no coincidence that cuts under austerity to mental health care has coincide with a sharp rise in the numbers of rough sleepers and homeless.

All the ambition of the Lib Dem / Tory coalition, no wonder PVA and Tony are keen

Nice of you to name check me but the only thing I’m keen on is getting the Tories out. In my seat if that means voting Labour, Lib Dem’s or Greens (in order of most likely to least likely) then that’s who I’ll vote for. If it means voting for Reclaim, Reform or any variant of them then I’ll spoil my ballot paper.

Starmer is a Blair/Brownite. Wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world especially compared to a continuation of the Tories but I would like to see some more Corbynesque policies in the mix. Hope that clears things up for you so you can avoid confusion in the future.

I know your obsession with me leads you to believe that everything is about me but I’m not talking about me. I’m talking about all the red wall voters who had never considered voting Tory and then voted Tory. The reasons for that are clearly multifaceted but the big two were Brexit and the plum mouthed, Latin speaking, albino honey monster somehow convincing red wall voters that he was one of their own, they were all on the same side. Sunak very very clearly hasn’t got that. You could argue Starmer hasn’t either but he at least represents a party that traditionally has been their own, unlike Sunak. And I suspect that in the end that will be enough.
