Yes it's a silly suggestion tbhThere’s no way Wright is on the bench for the rest of the season.

Was so funnyI’m 100% sure someone’s told him to get nasty and bless him that’s how he’s interpreted it.
I wouldn't be dropping Simms for him at the moment. There’s no way Wright is on the bench for the rest of the season.
Nonsense he will start as soon as he has the ability toRealistically with 13 games left of the season and Wright coming back from 3-4 months out he isn’t going to be starting many games. It’s going to take a while to get going. So Haji becomes an excellent option off the bench.
Exactly. Theres barely an interview goes by where Lampard doesnt reference how good Wright is. He will be back starting as soon as he is able toYes it's a silly suggestion tbh
He won 4 out of 17 duels yesterday so hes still not using his strength and height anywhere near enough and had a 60 % pass completion rate
My definition of very good differs from other people's and his general play still needs much work but if he scores 2 goals a game whilst playing like that then hes won us the game and I'd take that every week
I gave him MOTM yesterday because his goals won us the game

Depends how long it takes to get properly match fit. Ephron hasn't started his first two games back.
Stats are interesting but they honestly they don't tell the whole story and its all becoming a bit American. Simms was great yesterday and that's coming from someone who thinks he's been disappointing this season.I imagine those duel stats are always a little inconsistent because they wouldn't take into account fouls won? Equally the second goal is a duel with the keeper but I doubt that was given in the stats?
I agree there is more to come. Half the time I think he lacks intelligence rather than aggression. He does not always seem to know which duel is worth getting stuck into. Thankfully the he pressured the keeper with the most important one yesterday.

I'm sure someone can dredge up a stat they tells us Latibeaudiere was anything other than complete shite but we all saw the reality.
I just don't think football can be fully broken into individual stats like NFL and give you a complete story. Simms had very little to work with yesterday but was a real outlet. It was an excellent centre forward performance.Generally as I said stats don't tend to have any player bias .
Simms wasn't winning the ball very often yesterday when going against another player , it was noticeable and generally his overall play in game is in need of much improvement.
He scored 2 goals though so really in this instance what can you say ? Won us the game

16 hopefullyTheres 13 games left
As a fairly Isolated centre forward with little to work with? EverythingWhat do you think he was excellent at ?

If you say so. I think you might be in a minority on this one. As i say, I bet some dullard can drag up a stat suggesting Lati was decent. I'm kind of waiting for if actually. And this is why stats are important because what you're saying isn't true , it's just what you feel against reality

Evidently quite a lot…He scored 2 goals though so really in this instance what can you say ?

Yes as an isolated centre forward he did everything you'd want from him. You don't agree so we'll move on. Its just football.I asked you to tell me what simms was excellent at yesterday and you said everything .
I think it's reasonable to push back on that isn't it
Ah apologies , I will just go along with the falsehood that we witnessed R9 levels yesterdayEvidently quite a lot…
All this talk of aerial duels made me look up which of our players has won the highest percentage of them this season - the answer may surprise you.If you say so. Only because Iheikwe was climbing all over him and pulling his shirt for most of the game and the ref ignoring it. The first time he challenged Max Lowe he scored with a header and both other goals were because he ran off Iheikwe, who couldn’t keep up with him.He won 4 out of 17 duels yesterday so hes still not using his strength and height anywhere near enough and had a 60 % pass completion rate

I'm backing my opinions over most on here recently, absolutely!Basically the only truth is whatever Tom thinks?

Yes he was a crap manager. Only two promotions, four Wembley appearances an FA Cup semi final, a play off final and a cup win. Absolutely clueless.shows how little a clue Robins et al actually had
chopping and changing up front, at the back, no time for anybody to settle into rhythm
I mean, you are literally playing the contrarian character on the forum recently and you are backing your opinions, no matter how unpopular. So i could ask the same of you but with bells on.Why post here then? Just send yourself messages and reply with how smart you are.

As long as he keeps getting goals, I don’t care if he drifts through games a bit, he’s paid to score however he can and that’s exactly what he’s doing.
