He was popping up all across the front line yesterday much like vik did. I think Lampard has addressed his work rate and it really does showI think Simms made a nuisance of himself yesterday and that does pull defenders out of position.

A lot of our crosses are to the back post for the opposite winger, or in the middle of the goal for box crashing players like Rudoni and Torp.

I saw a few times he was down the left and right as well as down the middle which isn't something we saw before lampard came in. He still has lots to work on but I can see an improvement in work rateGyokeres didn’t run across the line - he’d get a long wide ball over the defence and use his power and strength.

So totally ignoring my completely valid point.Ellis simms has scored 6 league goals in 33 appearances this season , he had 12 touches yesterday and couldn't pass the ball to a teammate .
