A bit odd seeing a player refuse to celebrate a goal in an international game as you sometimes see players doing against their former clubs. Still didn't stop Rice getting a villain's reception anyway.
I think, given what Rice said afterwards, it was more out of respect for members of his family with Irish roots.

I do not subscribe to the practice of booing players myself, but I have nothing against it. Although it is self-destructive as it seems to be one hell of a motivator.

No issues with Irish fans booing him, nor would have issues if Rice went full send when scoring at the fans as retribution.

Yeah, true.

It could be lager, or nappies, or packs of microwaveable rice.
Or that they bother with preventatives or their sexualiity, just for example.
The alternatives are fine though, just a bit of gentle nitpicking.👀🫣🙆👍

Boring half christ , we can talk about how Finland are sitting in 2 banks of 4 but Greece stuck 3 past these no problem
