Completely agree. The only thing I can think is that they saw his hand was out at an angle away from the body. Ridiculous though, they aren't statues, they're moving and it's nigh on impossible to keep your arms completely still.

I'm not sure I actually understand what the rule is anymore. They seem to be going with any contact with the hand no matter if its intentional or in a natural body position
