That's the most worrying part. How can there be so many gaps when we have set the stall to have a strong defensive midfield?

I would sub Philips. Mainly for the simple fact that he does compete for the ball and is very physical, but is obviously already on a yellow card.

It's played at an unnaturally slow speed compared to league football. We don't look half as good as we should/could if we just stepped up the pace. It's even killed all the atmosphere in the stadium. You can hear the players shouting all the time.
