I think he suffered from injury and then playing when injured and playing out of position when asked to “help out”.

Seems as though Dabo is struggling at FGR, seen numerous comments from their fans that he's too slow and doesn't look up to the level. Guys body really has let him down, shame really.

Seems to be at fault for goals most week and according to the fans has a 'lack of interest'. He was dropped for the last game, but looking at the one before that, it didn't take long to find some encouraging comments...

Unless Big Doug is being tight with the Hamer money I don’t see why we would. The length of his contract allows us to hold out for even bigger sums the following summer.

I think a club like ours needs a very good reason to turn down eight figures for anyone.

I'll probably get slated for this but honestly think Van Ewijk looks twice the player Maatsen was when he was here. Ridiculous fee for him.

What I love about van Ewijk is that he seems to love to be here, a bit like Hamer. For him to move to a different country and you can see such a big smile on his face is so refreshing. Early on Robins said what he needs to improve on and he’s completely right, if he can master that we have some player on our hands and will easily be a £10m+ player

I honestly think O’Hare has such a positive influence around the dressing room, his character and personality I’m sure brings happiness around the camp. Fingers crossed we can get him signed up. You could see how O’Hare was pushing Van Ewijk to celebrate with the fans at the end of the Boro match.

To be honest, on a human level, how the hell do you motivate yourself to play for bottom of league 2 Forest Green when you were the person who missed the penalty kick to get a team to the Premier league?

That must be absolutely devastating and take huge mental strength to get over it.

Of course missing the penalty will have done some damage to a person's psyche, and he probably needs some psychological support.

That said, he needs a bit of a reality check anyway. He spent the last two seasons in the championship which was almost a false position for him, because he wasn't anywhere near capable of it. He's now talking about how he's going to play in the premier league. That kind of mentality is more delusional than aspirational, similar to thinking he could score a penalty which was based on nothing but ego. If he isn't careful he is going to end up in non-league, cause based on many comments I've seen from FGR fans, he is well below the level required even for them.

He was taken off at half time against Swindon a few games ago. To be one of the worst performers in the worst team in League 2 is some fall from grace.
