The rift is deepening I think. Before the game today I overheard a couple of people (two women) who were abused in the pub at PV last week because they mentioned they were season ticket holders. That ain't right.

I'm always up for a drink, but if our beer-sozzled debate from the other night is anything to go by, it would be a long day

Remember the football league show when they were more focused on the 2 fans arguing and the fella having a go at the one going into the ground? It isn't right at all the same as it isn't right if fans come out and abuse those in the hill.

If it gets too far the club or police will have to step in I guess before it does get nasty.

So how were the majority on the hill to know what was going to happen at the end of the game? Are they mindreaders? The hill is a public area anybody can stand there

Sounds good to me. I normally make a game last a weekend. I leave my house about 4am to get to Coventry in time to get on the coach. Then have a laugh with the natives when we get there. Always a good day. It would be easier to get points across face to face. I am not normally argumentative. It is so different trying to get points across on the net......then I forget what I am going on about

Totally agree, I think all of the groups whether it be KCIC, NOPM, The Trust and whoever should come out and try to unite the fans rather than split them. Get something that everybody can agree on and get behind and bring the fans together.

Do some market research, see what people are willing to get behind.

I must have the wrong impression as I keep getting emails from somebody about it, somebody keeps posting on here about it and somebody is taking credit for saving the club because of it? I agree that why does everything have to be a "campaign" and given a "name" all of the time.

I think if it had just been "a few blokes on the hill watching the game for free because they don't want to give SISU money" it would be a lot better rather than the "campaigns"

As a active supporter of over 45 years I am sick of these views:

People on the hill are there for free view.

People who go into Sixfields are scabs.

No both are historically hardcore fans who have followed city through thick and thin.

They have been placed in a situation they have little influence on. None of them have the answers they just have opinions and gut feelings.


Remember we are all Sky Blue...we all just want to watch our team at home.

The weekends away watching my team is the only time I get to myself. I get my weekends and the wife goes out with her friends. We have only had 3 nights out together in about the last 15 years. Love it. That's what happens when you have lots of kids

SISU can be blamed for a lot, but people reacting to each other like that is not something they can be blamed for. They don't make people behave like morons - people are responsible for their own actions and should be bigger than this. Glamourise it by saying it's passion if you want, but I'm calling it what it is, fascist, moronic and a shit example to set to the next generation. These people are wrecking the club MORE than SISU.

I agree with most of your comments but how can the younger fans see it when most of them were just getting home from playing for their own sunday teams.
Sisu have given our younger fans a choice to make, watch or play .

I see what you are saying, and you'll never take everyone with you, but there certainly a lot of people like myself who would come on board with other forms of protest. I thought the march was excellent and sent out the right message, but I don't know how we can rival that. I'm not exactly full of ideas though.

here's an idea for a protest.

at the Sheffield game there looks likely to be a big presence on the hill and possibly an equal presence in sixfields. at half time why don't the fans on the hill come down to the main entrance and the fans in sixfields come out to the main entrance, hand shakes and hugs all round then sing a few songs together, just before the 2nd half kicks back off the fans from sixfields go back in and the fans from the hill go back to the hill.

with the TV camera's there it should get some coverage, it shows we are in it together and we will not be divided. sticks 2 fingers up to everyone FL, Shitsu, ACL etc.

Okay, I know I am wasting my time here. 1 - first instance of any name calling was a car load of so - called 'City' fans who exited the stadium following Brentford's 2nd goal - driving past, hanging out of the windows shouting "Hill monkey w@nkers" at people on the Hill. This led to one or two people on the hill calling the next lot of 'loyal' fans exiting the stadium following 2nd goal scabs. A chap responded by shouting "Support the team you b@stards!" and then made his way past people on the Hill continuing with a tirade of foul mouthed abuse. He obviously got a verbal response and never in a million years was there any danger of anyone from the Hill getting physical with him. Next up came some short fellow with a gang of mates sniggering and laughing at people on the Hill. They got a lot of abuse, ie called scabs but no threats of violence. I think it was all of the posters from the GMK fanzine, about 6 of them.
So to sum up, the people who go inside the sixfields started it. Quite frankly, the people on the hill were very restrained and dignified. And fair play to the Brentford fans on the hill. Snidey comments have been taking place for weeks from people going into the stadium, perhaps it is the guilt complex or something?
