It was actually the guy from Fleetwood who got it down to an exact breed not me.The fact you are having to get it down to the exact breed shows you are looking for racism. Why the attempt to dig as much as possible to find some strenuous link to make things racist.
All I am doing is asking why it is OK for him to make that comparison but it is racist when somebody else does? The same as when you said that guy in London was only stopped and searched because he was black.
You are going out of your way to make out everything is racist, i am just questioning how it is racist. At least NW says "because Akinfenwa says it is".
Again, why did Akinfenwa have to compare himself to a Buffalo?
Insult me all you like, don't bring my family into it you prick.
You don't know what goes on in my life, and which nerves you might touch because of what's going on at the time.Getting a reaction like that for saying you get your wife to deal with the neighbours.
Hang on so... if you were in a pub, said something to a bloke and he said he was offended because you'd said something racist to him, you'd argue with him and say nope you weren't being racist, because in 1973 he said something else...?
It was actually the guy from Fleetwood who got it down to an exact breed not me.
I’ve explained it to you numerous times why the picture isn’t racist. It clearly isn’t a reference to colour as the guy on Akinfenwas back is not by any stretch of the imagination the same colour as a lion. It’s clearly a reference to size in that a player at least half the size of Akinfenwa takes Akinfenwa down. You even then moan about people looking for racism in everything after making the photo in your mind about colour.
I’ll ask you again. Why not just call him a fat c**t? Why did he specifically choose to call him a fat water buffalo? Had he just milked Akinfenwa and made some mozzarella cheese from his milk?
Does intent become part of the equation here. We all know there's certain things you just don't say, like the n-word for example, so if people start throwing that around we all know what their intent is.
But if Akinfenwa can describe himself as a water buffalo in a joke but then get offended when someone else says the same its a complete minefield. How do you know what you can and can't say when its totally down to the recipient if its offensive or not?

Because I'd apologise to somebody if I'd been unwittingly racist towards them?!?I'm sorry, but stuff like this is exactly why Racism is taking so long to be eradicated from society.
Because I'd apologise to somebody if I'd been unwittingly racist towards them?!?
The guy wasn’t stopped for any other reason than being black though. The police didn’t know who he was when they stopped him, they lucked out on that. That's what I am trying to get at.
This whole "If he says it is racist then it is racist" is madness. Tony was saying it was racist that the guy carrying a knife, wanted on a warrant as stopped and searched.
How can racism be sorted when effectively pretty much anything anybody says can be tediously linked to race?

Ankinfenwa didn’t describe himself as a buffalo though, water or otherwise. He made a comparison of a lion bringing down a buffalo to his team mate who’s half his size taking him down by jumping on his back during a goal celebration. That’s the context of the photo.Does intent become part of the equation here. That the guy wasn’t involved in from everything I’ve read. Unless you know better the guy just happened to be in the wrong place with the wrong skin colour at the wrong time. They didn’t know he had an outstanding warrant when they stopped him. They could have easily just stopped a crown court judge, a charity worker, an of duty police man, a doctor, a nurse, a scientist etc etc if the only reason they were stopping people was based on skin colour. And that is why it was racist. They stopped him because of the incident they were called to.
This is the kind of bullshit which means things will never be sorted where everything and everyone is racist unless they can prove otherwise.

When someone called him a fat water buffalo what’s the context of that remark? It’s the context that determines if it’s racist or not.
Again, I don't think it was meant as a racist insult.Ankinfenwa didn’t describe himself as a buffalo though, water or otherwise. I'm really not. You're all over the place with this one.

Coutain matched the description of a suspect in an assault case
Again, I don't think it was meant as a racist insult.
I don't understand why we're trying to prove it's not, however... or what that gains us in life.
If you call a white person a fat pig you’re just as likely to call a black person a fat pig because the pig reference tends to be a reference to eating behaviour not skin colour. How many White people do you know who have been a fat water buffalo?Out of interest, if someone called a white person a fat pig, would that also be racist?
In other words he was black. There’s plenty of white criminals out there, the next time I get stopped because I meet the description of a wanted criminal will be the first, yet I know black people who have been stopped and searched multiple times because they apparently meet the description of a known criminal. But you are saying it is racist when you don't seem to know what happened? That is part of the problem.
They stopped him because:
That isn't racist, that is trying to solve crime.
It isn't racist to stop people matching descriptions of people involved in crime in the same area.

Matched the description and driving erratically are the polices go to when they are being cunts
If you’re referring to the English athlete and her husband the car was 100% legal and didn’t trigger the the ANPR. Dave is right though, driving erratically is a common BS excuse. For many years my only mode of transport was motorbikes and I’d constantly get stopped for simply riding a motorbike and they’d always give the excuse I was riding erratically and I never was. In the end I started carrying all my documentation on me as I got pissed of with producers.Aside from the woman filming themselves driving away from the police when being asked to stop.
It seems from these couple of examples, "skin colour" is the go-to when people are cunts.

Why specifically did the guy use a water buffalo if you’re going to suggest it has the same connotation? I think we can rule out Akinfenwa being capable of providing the raw material to make mozzarella cheese. Maybe Akinfenwa is a vegan? Why specifically a water buffalo? If he’d called him a fat pig given the historical context of the saying and it’s used universally regardless of creed or colour I think anyone arguing that it’s racist would be struggling. A fat water buffalo is an unusual turn of phrase, I’ve certainly never heard it before. If he’d called him a fat ox for instance, the phrase as strong as an ox is a well known phrase and again used regardless of creed or colour and personally I wouldn’t take that as racist, although others would. Fat water buffalo doesn’t even roll of the tongue like fat pig. Why specifically a water buffalo?
What the hell has that got to do with it?
Your argument was Akinfenwa had no right to consider being called a water buffalo offensive because another black man was content enough to voice one in a film.
So I'm saying you'd have no right to consider being called a paedo offensive because another white man was content enough to play one in a film.
This ... incident reported, description of suspect.
Maybe they should have stopped a white guy wearing shorts and carrying an umbrella.
Good job Tony don't work for the club because if Robins told him to pop up to Walsall's next game and scout out Bakayoko, he'd have come back with Lavery's signature.
Nobody has said the car was illegal. It was more the failing to stop when asked by the police. She even got her phone out to film him driving away and failing to stop.
I used to get pulled over a lot for driving fast cars like a twat or normally. I used to get stopped by the police when we used to hang about on the streets or i the park back in the day.
The difference was I didn't try to fight them or get away from them. I have mates who did give them loads of shit and they were always treated differently for some reason, I never got it.
So you put the case that because Akinfenwa wasn't called a fat c**t that it must therefore be racist ? Then you go on google and look into finding as much as you can about water buffalo to play the race card. As lots of people did. You even found out all about Idris Elba's heritage which you proudly spouted. It was actually the guy from Fleetwood who got it down to an exact breed not me.
