All this "he's anti-muslim" bullshit is basically just that. It's a smokescreen designed to confuse and, most importantly, to take the momentum out of any potential backlash. My question would be who is behind such a smokescreen and why?

Such attacks are overwhelmingly carried out by Islamists and everybody here knows it.

Where are the examples of the "far-right" carrying out similar attacks? The bloke in the van at Finsbury mosque?

Right so the years of tweets of anti Muslim and pro Israel rhetoric were all planted there?

Just like those that dance with glee when it's not a Muslim.

Personally couldn't care who's done it, but it's a reoccurring theme within Europe at the minute. Like people have said, they were desperate to pretend it was a choir boy and Christian with the Southport attacks.

Anyway, more importantly, the death toll is low thank God, considering what happened.

He was a Christian as far as we are aware aren’t we? I think he’s refused to speak so no motivations on record as of yet but nothing to suggest otherwise.

Right wing terrorism tends to use guns like the school shooter recently, Brevik, Mair.

As for “overwhelmingly Islamist”, here’s the full list from here:

1973 - Mental Czech woman goes mental and rams her truck into people
1983 - Drunk Australian man rams truck into bar after being refused service
1999 - Mental Japanese man rams car after getting into financial triuble
2009 - Dutch man tries to ram Dutch royal family for reasons unknown
2014 - Incel American attacks a university because he couldn’t get laid
2016 - Islamist attack in France, you start paying attention.
2017 - Psychotic Australian drives into pedestrians
2017 - Psychotic Australian who may have been Muslim rams a tram stop
2017 - Islamist attack in Stockholm
2017 - Right wing American drives into a group of protestors
2017 - Islamist attack in Canada
2018 - Incel drives van into a group of women in Canada
2024 - Man drives car into an exercise track in China because of a divorce settlement
2024 - Seemingly right wing ex Muslim drives van into Christmas market.

Let’s ignore this one. Of 13 I make a maximum of 4 Islamist attacks. Which is roughly the same proportion as just random pissed off people and right wing incels.

No one other than Harry everyone thinks he’s a c**t and it doesn’t matter what religion or none he is

Nah, there's a sentiment. Fingers crossed it's not the "usual suspects" then euphoria when it isn't. I've seen it a few times now, not necessarily on here.

Personally, my initial reaction is always, why? these poor people being harmed/killed. Then anger towards the party that's guilty.
