To be fair a draw is very frustrating when you hit the post twice in the second half. Nearly as frustrating as Peterborough

The amount of points we've thrown away this season is criminal! could potentially argue 2 today, 3 against Peterborough and 1 against Colchester. Just in the past week we've absolutely blown it

Bet you we win next game then llose 2 or 3 on the trot then draw one then win one and the pattern goes on and on and on and on.....

This is becoming our destiny.

I have learnt a massive lesson from this season and the past to never praise or big up the sky blues up till the end of the last game of the season that if it is merited. This has happened far to often where we start of well at the beginning of the season and then comes Christmas Day and we transform into the shittest team in the league. Feels like Christmas Day is becoming a bloody curse.

All though's shouting for Mowbury's head... Leave it out will you. At the moment heis the best we have and I for one will hate to seem him pushed out of our club. I for one support him.

We were unlucky today. Should have won it at the death and we would all be saying well deserved. I don't think we are much off being good again. We just lack goals and like a striker out of form it will come back. Too late for this season.

With the help of Wiki - top half finishes since 1970:

69/70, 70/71,
77/78, 78/79,
86/87, 87/88, 88/89,
93/94,
01/02,
03/04,
06/07

So 11 in 45 years - and too many of those were 10th out of 20, 11th out of 22 etc

Not a sparkling record!

Chief Commentator!
Mowbray says;

Late on we should have won. Tudgay says GK got a touch onto the bar

Murphys touched onto bar too

Pretty poor quality football match

They're home team and we nearly came away with a 1-0 victory

Had same problem 2-3 month.

Is what it is

Our % of chances to goals isn't high enough over the season

Murphy didn't have as prosperous day as Jones did

Tried to exploit sides against a team with 3 at the back

After vocal encouragement we grew as the game went on

Not many times I thought 'ooh that was close'

Phillips is a young player, who went through a spell of costing us goals and needed taking out the firing line

He did fabulously well

Phillips better 1v1 defending wide and did well

Jones had dead leg from last game

Officials didn't protect players today

Jones could have been protected more

He took knocks

Can't expect him to do 90 mins after 90 mins

Armstrong on bench after 3 games in the week

Ref had a difficult day. Best thing to say without getting into trouble

Team not trying? No. A pride hurt? Yes

Les go to best team in league (Wigan) and see how we can perform

Gillingham good team.

We are disappointed we are where we are

Players need to try and believe

Frustration is we didn't score AGAIN

Lots of games where we haven't scored at all

Why wouldn't you use all three subs in a game like this? Gillingham used all theirs, we used just one. A 0-0 draw is useless to us.

Coventry City Nil has become too familiar a result now, all that said a few months ago this would have been a decent away point.

Why would you when it sounded like as the game went on we got into the ascendancy. Who would you have brought on and for what effect?

Was at the game , the only negative for me is that we didn't win .
Very solid performance I can't fault the team , played some nice football going forward especially in the middle , happy with what I saw today .

How much time on the training ground have we had in the last 3 months? The busiest period of the season, with largely only 3/4 days between matches? It's not the same as sunday league, not the only one that has 'been there and done that' when you have done it at a league one club, with injuries to every position in defence, then come back ;)

Hahahahaha Lmfao. I played for Ayr utd, Montrose, and Raith in Scotland, and Coventry Sporting Club in Coventry, so Yes I think I am qualified to say... Been there, done that, anddddd worn the "T" shirt hahaha ;)

As i said, you are not the 'only one to have been there and done that' you haven;t played at a good standard, i would assume it was a little while ago now if it is "played"? So the game has developed?
You don't train a style of play, a system, and formation for months and preach a system then just uproot it because of bad results. So yes maybe in your playing days you would change to say 4-2-3-1 from a 4-4-2 to gain more control in midfield... But you wouldn't suddenly go from possession football to, hoofball. When you have spent the summer recruiting players who can play a certain style

Is this your latest obsession.

We would without a points reduction have finished 9th two seasons ago with 61 points.

The season before they we'd have had 65 points and a place below top half but the season imploded after Robins left. Without the reduction we'd have still been a couple of wins of 7th

I will bow to your superior knowledge of the game seeing as I didn't play at a good standard of football against good teams like Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen, Dunfermline, Hibs, Motherwell, and Wolves first team including Britains second Million pound player Steve Kindon, Kenny Wagstaffe, Kenny Hibbert, Phil Parkes in goal, etc, etc, etc at Cov Sporting, or play in the FA Cup, against Tranmere, and Peterborough............ Oh wait a minute! ;)

You did also say there were 20.000 at Highfield road in the Cup and it turned out to be 8,000 so it's fair to say your memory probably isn't what it was.

I will say this, he's a nice guy but all elbows on the pitch, cut me under the left eye, but no hard feelings towards him. Glad we were playing these guys as they were all making comebacks from injuries and at different stages of recovery, and we drew 3-3, and I'm proud to say Kindon didn't score(I was marking him) ;)

In the last 20 games we've been one of he worst 3 in the division.

Keep pretending.
