FFS stop torturing yourself (and the rest of us). The whole idea of a penalty shootout is that it produces a winner because someone's guaranteed to miss, and it could easily be a player who knocks them in for fun in practice. Let's face it, in many shootouts there are multiple misses. This one was notable for the quality of the pens, and Luton looked like they might keep smashing them home all day.Had Bidwell missed, would I feel different? Also yes. Him, Panzo, and McNally all would have been better options than Dabo.
Wasn't it stated that Dabo had been a very consistent penalty scorer in training? Maybe, just maybe, there were valid reasons for the order in which they were taken. But I guess you have inside knowledge of the penalty techniques and success rates of the others?
