It’s been in the pipeline for a while. As I’ve mentioned previously, agents will be doing tjeor utmost to get players moves this summer. It will be the busiest transfer window for a long timeUnless being around in SISU times means he loves chaos, he'd do well to reject Sporting Lisbon though!
Do you think the club are likely to accept around £15m?It’s been in the pipeline for a while. As I’ve mentioned previously, agents will be doing tjeor utmost to get players moves this summer. It will be the busiest transfer window for a long time
I'd take 17 mill and a 35% sell on clause
I was think similar 20m and 20%. Send an email out to all interested parties, first one to accept gets him.
True, but the point here is that Saddlebrains seems to be actually wishing it on him. I'd like him to succeed wherever he goes. Two years ago he was a nobody then in the last two years he became a somebody in two years time he could become a nobody again or

See WalkerAnd if he failed we’d throw him on the scrap heap when his contract ended

Keane was a done deal with Inter (as long as they were impressed with his Premier Lg performances) the moment we signed him.You don't get a bidding war if you take the first offer that comes along, there must have been several clubs interested in Robbie Keane though, as we more than doubled our money in around 1 year
Not wishing it at all
Just be funny after hes been giving it the big i am
No if he failed all clubs throw him on the scrap heap it’s not just the parent clubAnd if he failed we’d throw him on the scrap heap when his contract ended

Is it too high? He's proven himself for 2 seasons in the championship and is an international footballer, Watkins went for £30m after 1 good season. Jarred Bowen went for £22m after 2 good seasons in the championship, Maddison £20m after 1 good season at Norwich, Maupay £20m after 2 good seasons at Brentford, Adam Webster a centre back £20m after 1 good season in the championship, etc.Vik is right about the price being asked for him is too high but that is the prerogative of the selling club however the club must be well aware that the balance of power will go to the player the longer this goes on.
tjeor utmost
If I remember rightly it was between us and Forest for his signature. We weren’t prepared to pay more than 1 million and Forest paid just over that to get his signature.I remember us missing out on Trevor Francis. Those were the days. Relying on CET , The Pink and occasional glimpses at national newspapers.
None of this 24 hours ifs, buts and maybe’s…
But it keeps me off the street.
You can ask but unless you have a buyer at that price it’s too high.Is it too high? Why should we let the best striker in the championship go for less than that just because he wants to leave??

Your starting position has to be to try and get the highest price possible for him, it doesn't mean you will but if you don't ask you don't get.You can ask but unless you have a buyer at that price it’s too high.
Vik is not English so he won’t have that premium on his fee.
What I think is not relevant but let’s see how much we get for him.
Worked out well for Blackburn with Brereton Diaz.Is it too high? He's proven himself for 2 seasons in the championship and is an international footballer, Watkins when for £30m after 1 good season. Would the clubs have to print the letter out again to send it back with their bids?Post letters out. Or the interested clubs can queue down the ticket office. Not open tomorrow though.
