No I’m just aghast that say someone could be in a ten year contract and regardless of any personal trauma they have you would demand they do as they are told and serve their contract - no exceptions

He wouldn’t what?
He wouldn’t be half the player he was this season.
I would guess his agent would do a deal with a dutch, club .
He signs for a nominal signing on fee on a good salary as long as he stays fit. He signs the deal in January and that’s it.
I emphasise that this is only my opinion, but no matter how much he says he loves it here, there is no way he is getting injured.

Hopefully he'll arrive to the Hovis music and not understand a word anyone says. Get the train back Gus.

All the cobbled streets would be tiring too, I'd imagine. Will be knackered and fail the medical - sign the contract once he's home.

I heard they were throwing his car keys around as a joke but then someone threw them to Moore and he dropped them and they went down a drain cover
That would explain why his Mrs is fuming, she wanted them keys for the next house party at Dougs mansion.

I’ve been to Schipol 8 times this year, CDG 4 times and Brussels twice. I wouldn’t want to build any of them into a regular commute. Security, passport control and delays at Schipol in particular has become a game of roulette. It can be very efficient one trip and an absolute nightmare the following week. Admittedly it’s worse on a British or non-EU passport but it’s no fun for anyone tbh.

Only Grendel has ever flown. Don’t be silly.

The club is quite entitled to hang on to him if they can't get an acceptable price for him. To be perfectly honest, he needs to either hand in a transfer request or sign the deal. A year in limbo does nobody any favours.

What limbo? If he is saying he wants to go home and the only way that can happen is running his deal down everyone knows where they stand.

Well it’s a year where he’s still not at home so his personal situation is still not what he wants.

Well what would you have him do? Rack up fine and lose any reputation in the game or wait nine months to have a resolution?

Seems like a few others you’re more bitter about losing him for free than anything. But that’s a risk with any player.

Well no my concern as previously stated is a Brereton Diaz situation where the player trails off in the second half of the season once he’s got his deal.

The reason Hamer looks so happy during pre-season is probably because he’s been reading this thread on him - most of you just sound ridiculous planning out how far it takes him to fly home etc & just generally wetting the bed about him
Never known so much panic over a player maybe/maybe not signing a new contract

You clearly weren't around for the Stephen Hughes contract saga
