Let’s all calm down a little……… you know when last season, we couldn’t do much wrong etc etc …..well it would seem that the gods are looking down on us again , as I have been told that Mrs Hamer is back in the family home in Leamington ………
Wether this is a reconciliation period , I’m not told , but we ALL want Gus to remain here for the foreseeable future , so please leave them alone to sort things out , else if she reads these replies, she will definitely piss off back to Holland

Hamer is surely impressed with the signings we have made, and should influence his decision to sign a new contract.

Don't want to be pessimistic but i think he's going which is why he was on the bench today.

Think it will be a good willed departure which is why he was on bench and got a 30 minute run out today

Lets be honest the writing was on the wall a few weeks back

If he was going to sign he would have signed by now

We cannot get his replacement wrong whatsoever. Imperative

In all the preseason workout videos when Hamer smiled and really looked involved, I thought he was staying. But today’s comments from MR make me feel this is the last we’ll be seeing of Hamer. He’s clearly our best player despite all the recent signings. Hope we don’t let him leave for free and at least get something in return. Can we go back to Burnley and ask them to up their offer to 10-12M plus McNally?

We're not gonna let him go for free with a year on his contract, if he goes back to Holland though I don't think we will get half of his transfer value

Need to do what I hope we do with Vik and push the boat out for an immediate replacement and also bring in another cheaper player who might come off long term.

Robins himself all but confirms it here

This is a million times worse than Vik going. Absolute gut punch
Reading this it reads like there’s nothing the club could have done. It’s a shame. Hopefully it doesn’t drag out.

He can piss off then. Spent all summer telling any Cov fan he bumps into how much he loves it here and he’s keen to stay only to go back on it when push comes to shove. Thanks for everything Gus and good luck at Burnley or Fulham or wherever he ends up. At least Vik was honest from the start.
