The fact is only 3% of British people lose their virginity before 14, and the average age is 17, but you tried to make out that British people don’t have an issue with underage sex. As if this is anything like the same issue.

Humans go through puberty and get horny. That’s a fact. There are no dangers for a post pubescent adolescent having safe consensual sex. Child abuse destroys lives in many cases. To even mention them in the same sentence is frankly ludicrous.

Why didn't you just give me the stats? I find them genuinely interesting. I think all rape should be treated in the same way as murder. The reason why it isn’t is a whole other debate that isn’t appropriate for this thread.

Six years is fuck all and I’d say it most certainly isn’t significant for the severity of the crime. Hopefully it’ll end up being reviewed with at least another ten years added to it.
