My word, you've become ultra patronising and condescending in your dotage.

'Become'? I thought I wore that hat years ago.

Again, with the greatest of respect, your criticism would have more worth if you dished out as much to Grendel, who's condescending day-in, day-out? Or is he excluded your critique as he was a fellow member of Nick's meet-the-SISU circle?

Wasn't there a suggestion of a Joint ST package .

There Is no physical barrier to watching both ,as they will play on differing dates .

There Is an emotional one though ,only time will tell ,I don't think Cov will lose fans ,but It may put a ceiling on It .

For all the worthy development COV have made recently ,there have still been a few Financial Issues ,such as Scott Morgan not getting paid for

4 months last season, he,did In the end .:)

I think that was someone on here suggested that. Can't see how it would work given our adult tickets are £22 and wasps are £40. A joint ST would be in the region of £650-700

There are certain phrases.

I'm not racist but... before launching on a racist tirade

With the greatest of respect... before showing zero respect whatsoever, and showing a rather supercilious attitude.

By all means bait Grendel, he deserves it... but given it's me you start to patronise, it's hardly surprising I respond to you.

Unfortunately in your desire to maintain pomposity, you seek to draw everyone into a collective. I do, amazingly, have my own mind. I don't really care what Grendel thinks, most of the time he gets jumped on anyway.

Naively, perhaps, I expected better from you than the cheap jibes and the attempts to dazzle with verboisity.

That makes no sense. I'll refrain from using the obvious!

You say 'jump on Grendel'. I get called a council lover (you know I have never expressed a liking for the council), and the same old tired Thorn pictures wheeled out by means of misrepresentation; and then when I have a go back you accuse me of being supercilious without any comment with regards the fellow members of your Family Circle? Come on....

It was naturally a Wasps suggestion mentioned on Ruck an Maul tonight .

No, when you respond in a patronising way to me.

Not to anyone else, to me. As I said, by all means have a go at others.

That's not hard to understand, with the greatest of respect.

To be fair, I only posted that as you were on the high horse of other people people being apparently wrong all the way through everything. If you are going to start going on about others being wrong all of the time, then what do you expect?

ps. Grendel wasn't at the same meeting as us, so you are pissing up the wrong tree about family circle, I think he went on his own. Then there were the other 20 or 30 meetings that were had.

You've made the wrong call upon every occasion in all of this. Just because you've
invented yet another soap-box doesn't mean I'll start listening to your latest line of foolishness

You won't be surprised to hear that I have not read the whole thread but... and this is a serious question... How much have you got right in all of this?

The vibe I'm getting is that the council have waded into a deal with SISU mk II, just so AL and the crew can claim a victory against JS and the gang. Balls to the local clubs in existence. Maybe I'm incredibly short sighted and wrong...

You personally don't like the phrase 'with the greatest of respect'. The balance of what I put to you was fair and you chose to ignore it and went on a tirade. It would have been easier to explain you don't like the term

Probably the bit when I've stated repeatedly that the football club was being used as a casino chip in a high-risk game of roulette. And the football club would ultimately lose.

That bit, I reckon

No.

Unfortunately you atrtempt vacuous put-downs to assert yourself as 'right' while offering little but hectoring.

It's tiresome, as is seeking to include me in some kind of unholy collective with Nick and Grendel. That'd be like me grouping you with Spionkop and Italiahorse...

You could of course accept you got it wrong, and move on ;)

Were you not one of those who stated repeatedly that the club would not return to the Ricoh because it did not fit with the plan to distress ACL?

If I hadn't posed the question: 'what if a rugby club come along and do a deal to play European rugby games at the Ricoh (I suggested Northampton, forgive me) and leave the football high-and-dry due to Fisher's stance'; and I got laughed out of court - yes, I would admit I was wrong, and would happily move on

I refer you to the post above. Check back - it's there in the history on here.

I have never had any idea what SISU were planning next, and therefore wouldn't make such a claim

He wasn't alone if he did. I'm not talking about me by the way. This same poster also claimed SISU deliberately lost the JR so they could continue distressing ACL through the courts.

TBF I was at that meeting with them and believe me I for one am not in their family.
I come from a family of pure bloods.;);)

I knew it:

Pure-blood is the term for wizards and witches who have a purely or approximately pure magical heritage. This means that there are noMuggles in their family trees, but this is rarely, if ever, true if families are traced back all the way, for if wizards didn't mate with Muggles, their race would die out.

Presumably if they'd won they were going to appeal the decision ;)

They were never ever going to win. I said that all along due to one salient point which I said all along. Yet they are appealing? Why?

Let me help you:

http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/24643-Pro-SISU-Anti-SISU/page6

If you go as far as page 8; you'll see Grendel scoffing (post #307) when he scoffs at the rugby idea, and states 'It's you who doesn't answer MMM. Northampton have never played a game here and never will. We are the only game in town. Time to reflect on that I think', just after his infamous 'contracts are there to be broken' line.

The football club is the 'only game in town', contracts are 'there to be broken'. This is the forum equivalent of grouping around the school bully picking on someone, delighting as you chant 'scrap, scrap, scrap'. Except it didn't work out

Its not what a chairman says but what a chairman does that defines him. While the CCFC lot are busy trying to win court battles.

Like it or not the otherside are busy purchasing ACL!

Im guessing which 99.9% of CCFC fans would prefer!

Believe me I took no shillings.
I unlike others do not believe a word that the club owners come out with, whether it is to my face or on some old worn out teabag

And my Mum always said never trust any man that drinks fucking Tomato Juice..
You too took the Kings Shilling. I cannot trust you
