Top 4 locked in now for me. just who comes 2/3/4.
Expect boro to lock 5th down, thought they are v inconsistent
6th up for grabs.
While I tend to agree I still think we've got more wriggle room than 2 defeats.
I agree, It looks doable but what's putting me off from really believing is not the amount of points we are away but the amount of teams between us and the play offs. a couple of defeats and suddenly at least a couple of teams would look pretty far ahead again.I think 5th and 6th are up for grabs.
Any team from a group of 10 that can put a run together can get one of them
Take Norwich for example. We have been with 1-2 points behind them for ages and they always seem to win when we doI agree, It looks doable but what's putting me off from really believing is not the amount of points we are away but the amount of teams between us and the play offs. a couple of defeats and suddenly at least a couple of teams would look pretty far ahead again.
He's not a lefty FFS. One of many centrist dickhead journalists to throw their toys out of the pram at the prospect of a mildly left wing government
You’d need 75 to be certain, which means doubling our current points tally in 17 games. Got a lot of games at home still to come against the top half as well so those games will be extra important.usually any team getting more than 70 points gets in to the play offs
so we need 33 points from 16 games
10 wins 3 draws 3 defeats

71 is usually sufficient. 2019 was the last time a team with more than 70 didn’t get to the playoffsWe're not going to get play offs but hats off to Lampard and the team for giving us some positivity, that we're even discussing it. We need 2 points a game, which is not impossible but very unlikely.
Looking at the teams above us though. It's not going to be Blackburn or Watford as they on the down turn and will finish mid table. It won't be Bristol City, for no other reason than it's Bristol City. They are destined to be a Championship club til the end of time. Finally it's not going to be Sheffield Wednesday.
West Brom, Boro & Norwich for the last 2 spots.
We way teams are taking points of each other, I think it will be lower than 'normal'. 70-71 I think would do it.

I think that we have . Some squad depth , a quality starting 11. Nobody will look forward to playing us.So, we have 41 pts. 16 games to go. 2 pts per game? 73pts if we continue current form.
We did so a couple of seasons ago…Have we got the players to take us there?
Sunderland, Sheff U and Burnley fixtures one after the other isn’t nice - at least two are at home. So, we have 41 pts. 16 games to go. 2 pts per game? 73pts if we continue current form.

Our next 3 games are at Home. Albeit Ipswich is the Cup. I’d like us to focus on the league.
If you’re west of Ireland it may be worth giving it a miss.I’m at the point where I’m looking at flights for Weds.
Fuck me how has lampard been in job 2 months and still not had a test according to some?
I have a feeling the test will be the next game he loses...
Well he wanted a unknown Scandinavian managerHave noticed it more in the older generation who would’ve rather have appointed someone like Warnock or McCarthy.
They’re just not satisfied at all. They’re clearly not watching games as the difference between now and before you know who was sacked is crystal clear.

It's just a way to kick the can down the road and not admit they got it wrong. Few posters doing it
He's had an easy fixture list!!! January will tell us more
Bristol r shit. Next week tell us more
Yes we were robbed of 2 nil win Vs sheff wed but but they were on top for a 20 mins spell. Lampard tactically inept. Next league fixtures will tell us more
It's a shit league. All these teams fighting for playoffs are shit. Leeds will tell us more...
Fucking hell it's like tantric sex.
It's not. Talk of easy runs and hard runs doesn't really mean much in this league. Every win is a big winDodgy league though. Except for a select very few, everyone can have stormers or howlers. Not sure it’s possible to gauge proper argument through sets of fixtures before played.
The next test will be Leeds on Wednesday.Fuck me how has lampard been in job 2 months and still not had a test according to some?

It's a tough test. Of course it is. But that doesn't mean previous games should be disregarded as irrelevant. The next test will be Leeds on Wednesday.
We've had a great run against teams with issues and poor form, I don't want to take anything away from the results, but on wednesday we are up against the best team in the Championship, Leeds played us off the park at their place,
Lampard has been excellent imo. It's a tough test. Of course it is. But that doesn't mean previous games should be disregarded as irrelevant.
Fatso the same people that said recruitment is shit r now saying lampard shud win all these games and he doesn't deserve any praise for doing it
That is crazy!
