You'd think we'd be flying with the burden removedIt's amazing to see some of the revisionism around Robins.
7 years of success and apparently it was all in spite of Robins and just down to various instances of luck and good fortune.
And yet sakamoto is playing now with MVE and the form is shite ?
They talk shit , every manager has an assistant , every manager has coaches .
Robins is no different and last season we had a poor start even when adi and Lawrence were here , again proving our fans talk waffle
You could argue with them all day
The funny thing is they come up with all those reasons why Robins actually wasn't that good, whilst at the same time dismissing Lampard's previous failures as outside of his control and not his fault.
There’s hypocrisy on both sides of the argument and you’re better off taking everything King says with a pinch of salt.Again, it's the hypocrisy that some are applying, I totally agree about ignoring him, I get that he probably felt he had to big up the playing squad but its ignore something said to the local media when it suits, but take other stuff as gospel when it suits
It's batshit mental.

What so no new manager bounce and automatic promotion form ?No one can judge anyone until they can recruit their own players
What so no new manager bounce and automatic promotion form ?
What a difference a few days make eh
But if we dont then we wait till after a few transfer windows ?If we do win against Plymouth that’s 10 points in 5 games when we were averaging slightly more than a point a game previously
But if we dont then we wait till after a few transfer windows ?
I can see there being a rebuild but to do that some assets have to be sold. That means one or more of Sheaf, vanEwijk and Wright will go and I hope we will seek upgrades for DaSilva and Collins. It's so disappointing this season that we're only treading water, it's going to result in a significant drop in season ticket sales. We aren’t going anywhere this season. Staying in the league is it. If we do win we have won 3 games in 5 having won 4 in 17.
We need significant changes next season in a lot of areas
Can see a significant drop off in the " Doug King is god " t-shirt sales tooI can see there being a rebuild but to do that some assets have to be sold. How many games into a season do you wait for the turnaround? He had Adil & Lawrence in the previous seasons. He looked bereft of ideas this season. What's gone before doesn't imply that it will happen repeatedly in the future if the variables alter significantly which they had.He did, but he’s had history turning us around.
You are deliberately missing the point and twisting things which have been said. Adi & Lawrence were here as part of the managerial team which turned things round. To conveniently just mention the poor start bit solely with reference to Adi & Lawrence is deliberately misleading. They talk shit , every manager has an assistant , every manager has coaches .

You were literally gloating after the hull gameThis thread is an all time stinker tbf, trying to gloat after 4 games and then we turn in an awful performance on our next run out.
Unfortunately it wasn’t ever likely to last. Miraculous it lasted as long as it did. What is clear with the ‘new dawn’ is the disconnect between club, players, fans is increasing.
That’s not something I expected to be saying after recent years.
There is so much gaslighting going on by people with agendas.
Lampard is not the man. Nothing has changed under his leadership and we need to stop kidding ourselves that these players are all L2 wasters. We haven’t seen a single shred of improvement in any area. We’re in zero danger of relegation, never were- what’s probably going to happen now is we’ll just drift along and finish up lower mid table.
The people who wanted Robins out will then claim that’s a ‘good achievement’, and that we were certs to go down had he not gone, and we’ll spend until about this time next year kidding ourselves things will turn, but they won’t and we’ll be straight back on the managerial merry go round.
I am desperate for Lampard to get it right, because we stand to lose all the momentum which took 7 years to build, but head over heart if we’re honest we can all see where this is heading.
Tongue in cheekYou were literally gloating after the hull game
You can judge the starting lineup on Boxing DayNo one can judge anyone until they can recruit their own players
Collins starting apparentlyYou can judge the starting lineup on Boxing Day
I would expect at the very least Collins and Da Silva dropped and if that doesn't happen then it needs to be questioned
Based on what?Collins starting apparently
How do you know?Collins starting apparently

Right.I am desperate for Lampard to get it right
christmas in the toilet alreadyCollins starting apparently
Right.
We’ve seen changes. Whether they justify the decision is a matter of opinion but it’s not like nothing has changed.Wouldn’t matter who was in charge, I will support them. I can also say whether I think they’re good enough. I will support Lampard (don’t forget, I’m one of those “happy clappers” that get the piss taken out of them for being too optimistic), but so far we’ve seen zilch to justify making a change. It’s not hard to understand.
