The question is Allen's form sustainable? I believe so. There is no doubt in my mind he has been one of the main reasons for our upturn in form along with Dovin and Kitch.
Always supported and been an Allen fan who keeps getting written off. Totally unfair considering the injuries he sustained last year.
Yup! You'd think we'd have learned by now not to write him off but no! I hope he continues to defy negative opinion.

Aside from letting one or two on the real fringes go out on loan I’d be staggered if we do any more business tomorrow in or out. Tahirovic would be quite frankly bizarre.

All that is rational is telling me that we are done but

1) my hard bitten based on experience pessimism is braced for a MvE to Fulham shock

2) my nonetheless resilient optimism tells me that the lack of a SkyBlue Unseen means they will want to wrap up the Grimes signing, Swansea victory, MORE INCOMINGS, and the Leeds game all on Thursday morning.

Would Robins be interested in signing him?

100% he would, but there's very little chance that Stoke would have the funds available to meet Doug's valuation.

And I doubt they'd have anyone FL would be interested in swapping Eccles for.

Tbh, I'd be happy to keep Eccles around, he's versatile and can cover RB when required.

I get that the fans think that, but financial rules haven't exactly stopped them in all their time in this league.

Close to falling foul of FFP rules but money tight atm, even though their owners would bankroll further investments
Maybe a loan with an option to buy?
Stoke already have 5 loanees however

He’s played well, but he’s not at the level required to be a starter for a playoff team. IMO, Sheaf, Grimes and even Eccles are better players.

Allen is a capable role player and a leadership figure so he has a lot value as a squad player, not as the main man.

I like the fact that when he came in he was up to speed with fitness.
Sheaf seems to need 3 or 4 games before he irons out most of his mistakes.
