But let's look at it logically

We were aiming to get someone out for a fee this window, haven't, yet added grimes. So that's 3.5Million spent this window

We spent 13 Million in the summer with only Palmer going out for a fee, (1.2 Million I'm told)

So we are net 15.3 Million down this season

There is absolutely no way we bring anyone in for a fee now.

The summer will be different, Sheaf will be going for 7 or above, Vik will 100% move on so that's another 6 Million

If we got 1.2 million for Palmer we did very well.

Grimes has mentioned how quick it all happened and with his in laws moving last week it doesn’t seem that there had been much prior knowledge as otherwise you’d tell them to go to Warwickshire/Cov instead.

To be fair Saddle based on the Eccles rumour, Doug could be hedging his bets that with the Gyok Money and either Eccles or Sheaf going he could cover the costs.

Don’t see it myself but thought to offer a solution to the finance.

To be fair excited for the summer window with some decent funds and only a few positions to replace.

Yeah, that's the only thing i can imagine, someone may have brought their interest in Eccles forward.
