Always supported and been an Allen fan who keeps getting written off. Totally unfair considering the injuries he sustained last year.

I like the fact that when he came in he was up to speed with fitness.He’s played well, but he’s not at the level required to be a starter for a playoff team. IMO, Sheaf, Grimes and even Eccles are better players.
Allen is a capable role player and a leadership figure so he has a lot value as a squad player, not as the main man.
I think this is the most likely thing that might happenI’d imagine Patterson will join till the end of the season with another year option.
If only to piss them off even more by signing their new captain
