I don't know who you are asking. But I do know that you are not answering questions back as normal

Ive just answered the questioned.

At least we now know indeed the club spent £6.8 million on the Arena project.

Much worse than that. OSB said it was 18m :nailbiting:

So I suppose you think that is OK?

What was that Grenduffy. Hahahahaha.

It's an exhibition hall that uses a retractable roof that will have cost a fortune. It's the same facility we offer. Ha ha ha ha

Talking about the Telegraph... what the hell has happened to the website? it has turned into a huge picture book with tiny headlines under each photo :muted: Stopped reading the paper version cause it was :wtf:, now the website exceeds it!
Yes, you would think it could not get any worse than it was. But somehow they managed it.

No, show us how it would work. Get fans behind it and create pressure on those who apparently resist it.

At the moment the whole concept is simply regarded as pie in the sky, sisu stalling tactic nonsense whilst they play out the JR and hope wasps fail.
I bet Donald Trump could develop it. Of course, they'd have to rename it the Trump Stadium.

Really? wonder where the Central Heating comes into play hahahaha.

Don't know but given the roof at Wimbledon was £20 million how much this was I hate to think.

Have a look at other stadiums - you could build the stadiums and Leicester and Stoke and still come home with £50 million change versus the Ricoh.

Some figures were in Simon Gilbert's book. The information comes from John McGuigan, former director of city development at Coventry City Council.

He said the £113M was for all the development including the shopping park.

The Arena, including hotel, hall & casino was £64M, the estimated the stadium bowl component to be about £39M of that.

Be honest - Mcguigan told you that in the council canteen - didn't he?

So you was wrong again. What a shock.

Why is it some people don't mind what crap they come out with trying to prove a point.

So how close to a game can they use the pitch for other things?

On the plus side my work PC doesn't go into meltdown if I go on there now. Problem now is the Wasps adverts take up even more of the page.

I swear this board is full of train spotters.

Let's speak numbers, while ignoring the narratives being spun by the various protagonists, and the positions being taken.

You've got to stick to what you can pin down. Playing the "I heard X said Y to Z" bollocks is just asking to be lead about by the dick basically. You turn the whole thing into who do you trust more and bring in a whole load of other baggage that has nothing to do with it, like how Les Reid feels about someone who said something mean to him, or the current state of the newspaper industry (protip: they're all awful, it's a dying industry).

In football terms, you've got to keep your eye on the ball, not the fancy flailing legs.

It also nicely removes excuses from all sides. The facts are this: if you want to build something, you find some land and you put a planning application in. If you want to rent something, you sit down and get a deal done. Everything else is noise.

No you were wrong. You thought the CCFC build investment was £2 million. I assume you will apologise to chief Dave for suggesting he plucked figures out of the air.

Now you are trying, for some reason only known to yourself to prolong your agony.

I asked a while ago when I mentioned this stadium and you said that it cost £121 million to build against the Ricoh's £69 million that can you prove that the land demolition and regeneration of he site was separate to the £121 million.

The exhibition hall use age is irrelevant it's cost we are talking about. The roof cost would easily cost more than the exhibition hall so that debate has gone.

So - show me the extra costs will you?

Nah, he won't everyone is saying we need at least 25k.
We would have a 25k stadium rocking in the Prem.

It's the 10-15k stadium that "most" bar the "odd" few are concerned about
'Everyone' is saying we NEED 25k? I think I am everyone according to my missus & I say with absolute certainty that the only time we need anything like 25k capacity is when we play a top Premiership side in the FACUP or are one step from a wembley final in a lower status cup or the unlikely event that we are either nearing automatic promotion or the play-offs.
Otherwise 15k is all we actually NEED even for the Championship as a rule.
25k is a nice to have for us as we are all ever hopeful of a change in fortunes

...onwards & upwards PUSB

Just to be clear I am say I think if a stadium is built at the BPA.
If it is 15k. I do not think it will ever be expanded.
I am saying in the premier league I think we will need a 25k capacity stadium.
Are you saying you think a 15k stadium will be sufficient for us in the premier league. The only time we would get 25k would be if a top Premier League team came to town?

Maybe we ought to cross that bridge when it becomes a light at the end of the tunnel we are trying to find!

I would like us to apply for planning permission for a 20k stadium.
Including in the permission the ability to expand to 25k.
So at least we know it is permissible

When are you going to stop coming out with your noreal bollocks?

I said that CCFC put less than 1.8m into the Ricoh build. I said I wondered what happened to the rest of it. You and Dave said it was 6.8m. And that you are not bothered what happened to the money.

OSB says it was 18m in total on land we didn't own. And most probably only 300k on the Ricoh build. Are you still not interested in the slightest where and why?

Yep, they spent a fair bit on a fancy partitioning system that can turn the stadium into pretty much any size room you want, they can also set it up so its not noticeable that you're in the stadium bowl.

How many more times do you have to be told.. "IT'S NOT A PURPOSE BUILT EXHIBITION HALL"
*Edit* It wasn't the intention to be able to turn the stadium into what you say. It was a roof to protect the the pitch from Snow, Frost, heavy rainfall. The only time the roof is closed prior to a game is if any of these weather situations are forecast. Especially heavy rainfall(Being structured on palletts the turf would fall apart.)

Could you see SISU doing that at BPA?... Quick question.. Why do you think Dolphins owners would do that?
They can get storms and absolutely torrential downpours, so it may well have something to do with that.

Think only a few weeks ago they had to suspend a game due to stormy weather. Think the game stopped for about 45 mins.

Of course I'd be interested to know. I'd love to know what went on from pretty much the point the Robbins family parted with the company. Thing is I'm not sure what good it does us now. We're talking about things that happened over a decade ago involving companies that no longer exist.

Somehow I don't think you are very good at Maths. There are differences between average & peak crowds.

If you have a 15K stadium you'll average maybe 12K, which is poor in the Championship, to get an average of 15K you need a 20K stadium.

Don't worry, SISU won't ever submit planning permission due to a 'political embargo'.
