Come on Evo. Admit it. We have been poor at best for a major proportion of this season. Our points tally doesn't lie . There is obviously a major problem (regrettably including MR ) which could be one of a number of things . Something needs to change but no idea what it is
Not the manager

But you can’t mislead supporters and then not expect them to be angry

If you’re saying that promotion wasn’t a realistic target this season, but the club said it was, then it deserves all the criticism it’s going to get

Fans are notoriously stupid. They demand ambition, they believe every word managers, players and clubs say.

They want to hear ambition and won’t tolerate anything else.

I said at the start of the season that we are a top ten side. At the moment, 7 games in, I am content.

There’s no chance King will give Robins until Christmas if this form carries on. The next few games will be key.

Think it’s 4 points minimum over the next 2 games

We're not in a relegation battle, it's September. You can't get relegated until at least the new year.
Never said were, in fact I explicitly said we're not atm. I was merely asking the question at what point does the fear or prospect of that prompt King to act.

How is it misleading supporters?

If the club aims for promotion, but doesn't achieve it, that is not misleading supporters.

That's clearly not how football works is it.

If they came out and said 'buy your season tickets because we're DEFINITELY getting promoted' then that would be misleading supporters.

Please explain, given the amount of money we’ve spent, and our performance over the past few seasons why we shouldn’t be pushing for promotion?

I hate being negative about this team and still believe in Robins but this is just awful. No plan, no structure, no desire. Something needs to change because these players are too good to be in the position that they are. If this continues we’re going to be in a relegation battle.

These mislead supporters you're on about, how long have they followed the game?
Because it can't have been for more than 5 minutes if that's how they think it works.

“3 out of the next 5 seasons i expect a play off finish”

Not my words, the words of our owner

It's 7 games into the season , tell me which season displeased you the most nick
It doesn’t matter about the other seasons - a new season started in August.

doze he deserve a statue? Yes - but ultimately players are fighting, others appear not to give a shit. Tactically we’re all over the place and we don’t know our best 11.

That’s all in Robins’ remit. If they don’t get 4 points in the next 2 games, that’s nearly 25% of the season. We could find ourselves mired in a relegation battle we shouldn’t be in - next two games are huge

And the manager, players, owner, and coaching staff, how long have they followed the game?

Because it can’t have been more than 5 minutes if they think this is acceptable to most supporters

That's a different point entirely from the one I was replying to.

Well his past does matter , most rational clubs don't sack a manager 7 games into a season after giving them 7 pretty good years

Incidentally, you are right. We have spent a lot of money but have probably spent it badly.

That would be a reasonable assessment.

Too much money spent, on the wrong players and on the wrong positions.

But fans love reckless spending. Even now, you can hear fans say that King should be throwing more money at the squad.

Imagine the fuss if the Club didn’t spend
