I agree with most of this, although I think that it's most likely the case that this copper has seen a whole world of shit just happen, and absolutely lost it. By the letter of the law he is in hot water, but like you say, the prick almost certainly deserved it. I am not cool with this current victim move and sobbing hostage style videos coming out either. Agreed. There was always more to this which is why I’ve avoided commenting until more/the whole footage came out. If you do this to coppers you deserve everything you get (as much for the wider publics safety as the coppers) especially the streak of piss in the blue.

The copper unfortunately will probably still have to be sacked. You have to maintain a level of control in positions of power and the attempted stamp was a step too far
