One thing we do know is that if SISU lose, they will appeal to some other court.
Hopefully a tennis court where they can bat it back and forth to their hearts content.

seriously no matter how good a mate he is get something in writing. It is in both your interests to do so. A simple letter written by you both and signed, witnessed, would do. I have a business partner, known him since I was 12, our two families are very close, would trust him with my life .............. but we have a partnership agreement anyway

The fact she said the first contact was July the year they took over, but they were waiting wings with a document from 2012 is one.
Imagine if it was something proving tim Fisher wrong about a stadium....which is also common.
If he had said there was 5% chance there was going to be a stadium in Solihull, there would be fois, minutes from council meetings to try and disprove him.
Whereas ann Lucas and maton seem to get free reign on bullshit.
Just shows how a little knowledge starts a feeding frenzy.
The document in question was from March 2012 a full year before Richardson took over in March 2013.
Thats why Sisu bought up the date and CCC lawyer said that perhaps he over stated it.
The relevance was that CCC lawyer was trying to add value to ACL as additional evidence of the risk associated with the loan whilst Sisu were trying to reduce the value.
Agreed. If the government are involved then the emotion will be removed from one side and hopefully someone will bring sense to this dispute to end this ongoing legal saga that benefits nobody (... at the moment).
Richardson approached Rossborough in 2012 and some bloggers on the wasps site say that a deal was agreed for the Ricoh as a pre requisite to purchasing wasps.

A full year before he bought Wasps ?

So what little knowledge starts a feeding frenzy?
Ann Lucas said on the Radio they first got in contact in the July 2014 they took over. If the loan was made way before that, how can they use knowing that Wasps were waiting in the wings as an argument if they didnt get in touch for another couple of years?
Do you want me to send somebody over to now help you move the goalposts?
"Some bloggers"? Why didn't the SISU QC mention this in court? That's as good as a confession written in his own blood by Richardson. Especially if the was a picture of the Ricoh between two paragraphs. It's always true if there's a picture. It's facebook law so legally binding as well.
He said "perhaps in the wings was over stretching it"
Where do you want to set the bulletin boards goal posts so we can all get behind you ?

Sorry can't find where the council were involved in that informal conversation in Jersey !!!
In April 2013 one of Richardson priorities was a new stadium preferably in West London.
Wind your neck in, the smoking gun has not been found.
Yes, he meant the phrase "waiting in the wings" was stretching it. You forgot to mention the bit where he says "but certainly it had been mentioned". This is at the time they were evaluating the council loan, a fair bit before July 2014....
So, we have the council lawyer confirming and the Cov RFC President confirming discussions were had way in advance but Ann Lucas said it was July 2014. Somebody is telling porkies.
So AL was aware of that informal conversation between 2 friends in Jersey ?
The Rosboro' comment was after Wasps took over and probably a throw away comment that was turned into a headline.
The Rossborough Richardson meeting was confirmed by Rossborough when he was interview on CWR so that definitely happened and happened before Richardson purchased Wasps.
You have to admit it all seems to indicate that before there were rent holidays, rent strikes and moves to Northampton CCC already seemed to have Wasps 'waiting in the wings'

If that is fact, then Tim made a fool of himself by throwing the keys on the reception and heading off to Northampton. His whole rhetoric then played into the council's hands and justified the Wasps move. But, meetings and discussions are exactly that and not firm commitments. There were probably other meetings and discussions with other people elsewhere.
So was the Ricoh for sale then?Richardson approached Rossborough in 2012 and some bloggers on the wasps site say that a deal was agreed for the Ricoh as a pre requisite to purchasing wasps.

CCC were talking with Wasps in March 2012 (or earlier but that is a documented date).
Richardson met with Rossborough in late 2012, that was confirmed by Rossborough when interviewed by CWR.
Richardson took over Wasps March 2013 from his business associate David Thorne (having previously been involved with the club and having previously provided finance).
Eastwood appointed shortly after and club state they will be returning to their natural home in West London.
March 2013 negotiations between ACL and SISU collapse and ACL apply to put the club in administration.
Summer 2013 CCFC move to Northampton.
Timing all seems very coincidental :thinking about:
Not to mention the timing of CCFC coming back just as Wasps move in?
Weren't SISU shouting about them being "forced out" too?
The whole Returning to West London is very Fisherish.
I said nothing about a smoking gun, and that article was about him discussing the Ricoh and Wasps and Coventry before he even took them over.
The council were involved before then, as confirmed by their QC.
I am just pointing out that first contact in July 2014 was obviously a lie.
How do you know his priorities then? Why had he spoken to the President of Cov RFC before then?
Wind your neck in, the smoking gun has not been found.
I often find those who demand others should wind their neck in, should perhaps look at winding their own one in first.
If I remember rightly, they were making statements that ACL were doing so well they didn't need the club ....
Working on it but when you are only 5'7" you need all the height you can get.
My gut feeling here is, despite there being plenty of shady stuff from CCC, is that this will go against Sisu.
It is clear the council wanted to fuck us, and yeah Sisu deserve it, but the fans deserve so much better from all sides.
Did anyone see the Government getting dragged into it coming.....
Still say if the judge decides in SISU's favour and asks the Government to Cov up millions. They will appeal it on the grounds the judge asked why they were not represented in one of his first questions. Then carried on regardless when he discovered that they hadn't been notified!!!
Surely you must agree they left in order to break the contract and apply more pressure?
