I have simply said that entering discussions to stop legal wranglings must be a good thing for WASPs ( if they are intended to be involved in such )
I assume you disagree?
Well you and Tim are together on that one !!
As I see it the legal battle will go on regardless of discussions.I have simply said that entering discussions to stop legal wranglings must be a good thing for WASPs ( if they are intended to be involved in such )

I did not mention legal costs and their avoidance by going to Butts and the article says "It is understood the Football League, Coventry City Council, and the football club’s parent company Sisu have agreed to take part in the process."Surely it must meet their approval if they can avoid any legal or other disputes
Why does he say that? How would he know? Or why say that legal costs can be avoided if CCFC are going for the Butts? It is supposed to be SISU and not CCFC JR2. Joy's thing rather than Tim's.
As I see it the legal battle will go on regardless of discussions.
In fact I be pretty certain there might be legal implications if the parties are talking while legal battle is going on.
Also would the legal battle be watered down if parties are talking outside th courts.
For me (and Wasps) nothing can move on until the legals are out the way. The sooner they start the better and hopefully they can complete before the existing deal finishes.
Ate you expecting a SISU victory in JR2 then?
What about the land on the other side of the train track? That belongs to ACL doesn't it? Any reason why another stadium with academy can't be built there?

Whats benefitting financially from Wasps got to do with saying CCFC at the Ricoh is the only option? It makes no difference financially to me whether CCFC are here or not.
Hardly a Wasps mouthpiece posting on here.
You need to show me where I talk Wasps up as well. My reasoning is what is realistic for CCFC.
If slagging off Sisu and pointing out there shit policies is the reason the I'm guilty as charged.
Love to be advised how discussions can take place between all parties when Sisu are taking CCC and Wasps to court ?
Well you and Tim are together on that one !!
Win or lose I bet WASPS would not want to be dragged into them
Why make up things I have not said ?
You need to read up on the Court's current thinking on Mediations.
Just like everyone who hates sisu and backs the Ricoh being a Wasps fan.Why don't you grow up and stop accusing anyone who disagrees with your turgid monotonies that they either agree with Tim or are a Sisu supporter.
Just like everyone who hates sisu and backs the Ricoh being a Wasps fan.
Fuck me I have even been accused of that a few times.
That is the usual answer they throw at you when they have no answer or are against the wall. What have I made up? I asked a question, I didn't make a statement. The clue was the question mark at the end of the sentence.
No, just Italia.
Anyone who has accused you of being such was very misplaced.
Fucking Wasps fanJust like everyone who hates sisu and backs the Ricoh being a Wasps fan.

EXCLUSIVE: Mediation talks under way to keep Coventry City in city involving MPs
Interesting part of the article:
Coventry City have already taken part in preliminary discussions and have set a three-point remit in notifying the MP they are calling for “active not passive support from Coventry City Council” regarding…
It is understood the Football League, Coventry City Council, and the football club’s parent company Sisu have agreed to take part in the process.
- “Putting Coventry City front and centre-stage in the community.”
- A future stadium solution for the football club, with the club’s preferred option remaining a return to an inner-city home at an expanded Butts Park Arena, groundsharing with Coventry rugby club in a stadium of potentially 15,000 to 25,000 capacity.
- A future home for the club’s ‘lifeblood’ youth academy, with one potential aim of relocating it next to a new training facility.
It's a statement based on Reid regurgitating the Sisu line after every headline and old fiver going along with it.Why don't you grow up and stop accusing anyone who disagrees with your turgid monotonies that they either agree with Tim or are a Sisu supporter.
..
CCFC are stronger with Wasps and Wasps are stronger with CCFC.
I don't wish to p**s on anyone's chips (especially Mr Reid's), but if we are aiming to ground share at The Butts, the fact that CRFC aren't involved in the talks would seem a bit odd.
Also, CRFC chairman Mr Sharpe clearly stated, in public and only a month or so ago, that there was "no way he would make any deals with SISU".
Methinks this is a genuine attempt at mediation, which our owners are hijacking, as a smokescreen, to make it look like they are 'trying to find a solution' (yet again).
so which team are you going to kick out of the butts? has there are already three teams playing there,I did not mention legal costs and their avoidance by going to Butts and the article says "It is understood the Football League, Coventry City Council, and the football club’s parent company Sisu have agreed to take part in the process."
Easy to snipe from the sidelines. Decisions are made by those willing to turn upAnd continuing to do so!
What Hitler started this Council is bent on completing!
Which was only a rehash of the Wasps Feb interim accounts with an opinion from this Carvell bloke about refinancing etc.Well giblet your 5am exclusive has gone for a shitter
How on earth can Wasps finance their £7M barn thing? I think they have to find grants or a benefactor from somewhere. Can the Council afford to fund them?
Any way at the Council meeting approving the sale to WASPS, Lucas said WASP's would develop an Academy THERE not at Higgs
Which was only a rehash of the Wasps Feb interim accounts with an opinion from this Carvell bloke about refinancing etc.
Over a pint I heard
The original plan was to get someone else to pay for it via sponsorship. As work in it has now been delayed I presume they haven't been very successful finding a sponsor. How on earth can Wasps finance their £7M barn thing? I think they have to find grants or a benefactor from somewhere.
these starting requirements put forward - all stuff we can get behind
- “Putting Coventry City front and centre-stage in the community.”
- A future stadium solution for the football club, with the club’s preferred option remaining a return to an inner-city home at an expanded Butts Park Arena, groundsharing with Coventry rugby club in a stadium of potentially 15,000 to 25,000 capacity.
Just to play devils advocate turn it around and consider what the response could be (not saying its my view, fact or what will be)
- A future home for the club’s ‘lifeblood’ youth academy, with one potential aim of relocating it next to a new training facility.
“Putting Coventry City front and centre-stage in the community.” Well a good sentiment but what does it mean. Does it conflict with City of Rugby that CCC /CSF etc are invested in? Why would CCC tone down its support for Rugby or Wasps? What does CCFC offer that Wasps do not other than history & heritage? What are CCFC prepared to fund to achieve this? What are the CCFC plans and ideas that CCC could get behind
"A future stadium solution for the football club, with the club’s preferred option remaining a return to an inner-city home at an expanded Butts Park Arena, ground sharing with Coventry rugby club in a stadium of potentially 15,000 to 25,000 capacity" Show us the plans. Proof of funds. What are the infra structure improvements required. How much will it cost CCC. Why is it that option viable. What are the plans & commitments to rebuilding CCFC. How will it work between CCFC & CRFC how does CCC fit in. Timescales. How does it make CCFC better off
"A future home for the club’s ‘lifeblood’ youth academy, with one potential aim of relocating it next to a new training facility." Is it viable. Can club afford Academy in L2. What is going to happen to the funds from sale of Ryton. What site has been identified. Proof of funds to build it. is anywhere suitable available/affordable
Finally and probably vital is what are CCFC/SISU prepared to compromise on
Given the very public stance of CCC and Wasps regarding no talks whilst legals are going on then I cant help thinking activating the JR2 now makes mediation cosmetic at this stage. But that's just my opinion
