Just back
Nightmare performance
That team ain't making play offs
Never mind promotion
Changes needed and quick
Totaly shell shocked.

Been to every match home and away barring Grimsby and Luton.

That was as a bad as any performance last year.

Half the time though he can't even be bothered. Would you really want someone like that in your team? Cos I most certainly wouldn't.

Hope we have seen the bloody last of him.

But what could we get better than him, he is just a bit different than what we have

To be honest I thought your Nephew looked OK. Had the bit early on where he miscontrolled it but he was always looking for the ball and saw more attacking than our centre midfielders put together.

He did ok but dropped off in the second half, Doyle spoke to him at half time and he said he said some nice bits to him Eli was surprised he knew he was on loan etc

The moment Jones got injured I said that was it and sadly I'm being proven wrong. We have nothing going forward without him.

The worry is we're now struggling defensively too.

Of course its hurt our keague position.

10 games ago we were 20 points off relegation places.

Now we are just 12 points off relegation. And 1 point off 12th place.
I actually said it hadn't hurt our league position TOO MUCH, not that it hadn't hurt our league position at all.

After just two wins out of ten you surely wouldn't have bet on us STILL being in the play off positions and ONLY 5 points off the automatic places.

The whole point of my post was to show that if we can now have a turn in our fortunes we are going to be right back in it.

The damage could have been so much worse.

I feel we have too many players that are not suited to playing in league 2
You have to win your battles first but I’m afraid too many of our players don’t have the stomach for it

This is where the Haynes's of this world get found out for what they are. Can't even do the basics and win their own battle first and foremost. When was the last time he put in a firm tackle and got a yellow card. Only yellow about him is his yellow belly.

Same with Stevenson and McNulty. Not built for the tough leagues.

I most definitely prefer Stokes to Haynes.

I think in this division you need physical strength as much as anything else. Haynes most certainly hasn't got that. If he HAS to play it HAS to be further up the pitch.

It's a shame I just pointed out actual facts, there was nothing stupid about it.

When like you and the other one who just come on when we are losing to be chuffed and gloat what do you expect?

While you puff out your colossal edifice of pedantry it should be noted that your assumptions are predicated on denial. Never a good idea.

Again, it's based on fact. You just have to look at yours and the others post history to see it.

It's not being made up.

Yesterday I made several posts on Coventry’s election as city of culture.
Meanwhile, you bark on like an idiot about an occasional point of view which doesn’t happen to conform to your own
dewy eyed sentimentality. You really are a sad case.

It's quite obvious I am talking about CCFC posts and discussions, as it's a CCFC match thread and I listed the last ones you bothered with.

For a lame attempt at a Russel Brand impersonator you aren't the brightest.

I have pointed out facts, I have said you and a couple of others only bother posting about CCFC when it's to gloat. I'd say gloating about the team you apparently support losing is sadder than most things.

Fuck me, everyone's starting on Nick.

INTERWEBZ FIIIIIIGHT...

Anyhoo, yesterday was dog shit infused with more do shit - clearly missing Jones and have no contingency in place for his absence. Also, two or three bottle droppers seem to be appearing, so Robins may not have the confidence in the dressing room.

Hopefully I'm wrong on both counts.

Let’s face it he is a bit dull.
That’s what we have to do now every time we post a negative.
Add the proviso that ‘we hope we’re wrong’ in case you are accused of ‘gloating’ or some other imbecilic bullshit.
PUSB
Will have to do for me.
Pusb.

Let's face it, you might be sat looking up a thesaurus for words but you still only post about ccfc stuff when we have lost or you can try to rub salt in.

Disclaimer or not, the timing and strange joy you and a couple of others get from popping up after a loss to give it loads says it all.

I hope I’m not one of the members accused of “gloating” as it hurts me to the core when we get beat
It’s unfortunate that because I now live in Scotland that the games I have been to this season have included Accrington and Morecambe
I stand by what I said about the team on Saturday though,we need changes to that team and not necessarily in the transfer market

It’s a footy forum, you plank. It’s about opinion, not undiluted craven wish fulfilment.
If you want that, stick to fairy stories.

You are right, it is a football forum. Maybe you should try discussing it at some point rather than just gloating and getting chuffed when we are losing?

I don't need fairytale stories, I am pointing out facts to you.

At the risk of attracting flak I trust Robins to sort it out
His interview immediately afterwards seems to confirm what most people who went to the game have said
That it was men against boys and we aren't winning the battles
And that the forwards aren't working hard enough
He also said he knows what needs to be done to solve it
We all know we seem to struggle in the first half against teams who come for a scrap
Let's not throw the towel in just yet.
Robins did most of his business early in the summer window so hopefully he has the same in mind for January
There was a rumour he was interested in Doidge at FGR who is certainly a hard worker and has scored plenty of goals this season
He was voted player of the year at Dagenham & Redbridge in his first season in League 2 even though he didn't score that many as he works his socks off in every game

I think we miss Kelly more than Jones. At Stevenage we were the better team until he went off. We'll be okay once he's back which says a lot for the rest of the team when he is missing. I like Stevenson as a footballer but he's no good for League 2 you need battlers. Doyle has to do his battling when Kelly isn't playing and he's too old to do both jobs.

Just watched the interview with MR on I follow app, was it just me or was anyone else hoping he'd stop the interview and go in and smash up the stereo on what I hope was the away dressing room!

Was making my blood boil watching it

That tackle on Stevenson for the Fleming yellow was awful by modern standards, how the ref doesn't send him off for that I don't know. Complete revenge tackle for the McDonald challenge a few seconds earlier and absolutely throws himself into it 2 feet off the floor, catching him after the ball has gone.

Yep said at the time it was shocking. Could tell he meant it was well.

Like the one on grimmer the other week, if that was against man utd it would be all over sky
