I would like to see Tavares and Raphael given a proper game. The others aren't scoring so let's try it. Everyone expects us to lose this anyway and we seem so impotent up front, especially without the two/three injured attackers. I'd even be happy to Allen given a go, I think he's always solid and seems to have been unfairly sidelined this season...
Tavares has no future at the club. He’ll likely end up in League 2.

I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised today by this side.

It's the hoping that gets to you eventually though.

Less free jazz than advertised

That's just the same system but with Lati and Allen in midfield and BTA on the wing

I'd play Simms every game until end of season just to make sure we aren't missing anything then get rid if he truly is Tom Tit

Glad kitchings being given another chance (hopefully he takes it and no sending off or bollock dropping !). Strange not to start with simms but maybe Lampard wants to keep strikers fresh for work rate/pressing.

I think it may be an absolute circus today with a red card for good measure. We end up winning 6-5 with hat tricks for BTA and Allen

I really hope Kitching has the most monstrous, horrible bastard defender game today.

Still think there is a great player in there - but just could do with not scoring own goals and getting sent off 😅

How is Simms expected to get going this year if he’s barely playing?
I thought he did ok last game - yet he’s dropped. Earlier in season (Luton I think?) he scores and then dropped for next game.
He’s clearly a confidence player and just think he hasn’t been shown any this season, Robins included. And when he does play he’s feeding off scraps and 1 up front totally isolated.
I dunno.
Exactly this, people will slate him, but how is he expected to get going. Despite the obvious Simms trolls, most on here can see that he did well at Cardiff and was the better of a bad bunch. Dropped after scoring against Watford, dropped after scoring and finally looking like he was getting going against Luton. Very much a confidence player, but gets dropped again.

I'm not expecting much with this side so at least I won't feel too disappointed when we lose.

Tyler Walker all over again. I hope we don’t live to regret it like then 😔

Imagine if every footballer needed to get going

If he can't get a look in ahead of bta then he needs to go....I think there's a good player there with a run of games....sure division one club would take him
I highly doubt it. He’s nearly mid 20s and not played regular first team football.
