I reckon I've got this sussed, if Robins promises to win the league cup, FA cup and smelt them down to make a nice tiara for Joy, maybe we'll have enough funds not to sell anyone, and she'd have an addition to the handbags.

I mean, it's kind of risky saying he is "staying put".

Might be worth waiting until the end of the window before saying that.

Nothing to stop Burnley selling a player, getting some cash and coming back at the last minute.

Given that Cornet and McNeill both want out and have interest, it seems premature

There will be so many games Bidwell will play plenty through the season, just not the first man on the team sheet. We are stronger this year given we get Ardamola for example.

Have you ever seen Adamarola play? I know I haven't.

While he appears to have a lot of promise, I've no idea if he's better defensively or going forward, or where he will stand in the pecking order in relation to Bidwell, and I very much doubt you know any of that either!

From what I’ve read and seen he sounds a lot like another Maatsen, I like the balance we have with two wingbacks who are solid and can cross (on a good day), and two who are more dynamic and attacking. Gives us nice options. I hope he does come in.

I don't understand.

I thought Dave Boddy was hawking him out for way below his market value so how is it possible we couldn't agree a deal?

I was reliably informed on here that Boddy was willing to accept 50p for him. Surely Burnley would pay that?

Given the first offer was £3.5 million and the second was around £5 million it’s clearly a concern as our assets aren’t worth as much as we believed . I did show on a pretty straightforward analysis the club will lose £6 million this year - how are we bridging the gap in your view? We lost over £4 million in the first year back and so I’d assume far more last season - it’ll never bother Mr binary but how’s it being funded

The short term loan has been raised - how’s that being paid off?

We have gambled on offering contracts to sell - no one wants hamer at all and no one wants o hare at enough to ensure we remain stable

We can’t survive without a sale or we borrow at eye watering rates

What’s your answer?

Encouraging news, because if anyone does end up going we obviously aren’t letting them go for tuppence

Maybe if Burnley come back in they’ll do it with a bit more professionalism

TBF I think what he was refering to in his interview was going to a bigger club in the sense they have just left the premier league. He went on to mention a big league. He cleary feels his chances of a higher degree of success is with Burnley this season. Many would agree with that if I'm honest. However it could just as easily be a mistake. He is a big miss to our team, but there are other good players we may yet attract. Adaramola for instance looks likely to be coming in after hearing what Robin's said the other day. Defensively that would be better than Maatsen tbh and strengthen us somewhat. Bidwell will be the reserve though he has been consistent and improved with us over time.

I think it is more just diplomacy and saying what fans want to hear.

Or maybe they're having a proper pop at getting top 6 this season and if its all going tits in January then offload 1 or 2 of them

Oh so now you think the sale would have been in the best interests of the club?

weve already took the short term loan out - we clearly want a sale but want the sake to be an upfront financial payment

This is the thing for me, are clubs using our situation and lowballing us or do they just not think they’re at the level of other departed Championship players (O’Brien, Spence, Lewis-Potter etc)

Either way they can fuck right off.
I for one am going to celebrate that we’ve still got O’hare…regardless of long term financial implications!

So we are desperate to raise 6m? Turned down 5m for O'Hare and an offer from Fulham for Hamer which I am sure would have been at least 1m that we paid for him but probably more?

You always talk like you know all the facts but you don't and just spin things that suit your agenda.

How are your two buddies doing, Jackett and JCH?

No not at all. I think we have an amateur CEO whose last job was a disaster we have owners who are going to get their pound of flesh either way and now we are as in 2011 rapidly running out of money

It’s no secret we wanted and believed we could offload Hamer - someone i think you rated - and no one wants him, o hare the deal upfront clearly also is a poor return.

We.have.no.money.

We are going to be in a financial muddle very quickly and remember the winter break also means no cash flow in those months

I think both.

Unofficially at the very least it is out there that we need to sell someone to make financial stability, but also we over value O'Hare's monetary worth. We can see what he does every week, but the numbers on goals and assists do count for something and there will be recruitment people looking at that.
