O'Hare bids (7 Viewers)

Would like to think we’ve told Burnley to do one after their conduct, and O’Hare not that keen on the move. If we could move on 2 from Kane, Walker & Waghorn, maybe we could keep the big 3 until January at least, and get a LWB in

People on here for the most part simply have no fucking clue what they are talking about .. end of story

Well that’s what Shugs says on the wasps forum. Ignore finances believe the CEO yet we all laugh at him?

He became popular when he agreed a “brilliant club saving” 10 year lease at Rodney Parade 9 years ago - I haven’t checked in the last few months but when I last checked it was a total fuck up and they had nowhere to play from 2023

In 2018 Newport County stated matchday cost had gone up a 100 per cent since the WRU had taken over the ground and continuing to play there was becoming untenable. So perhaps they are glad the lease only runs to 2023?
Newport RFC have already opted to no longer play at Rodney Parade.

So there is a history of problems with the WRU and Dragons post Boddy.

Nope he is one of a long line of people that have been useless that Sisu have employed.

I’m with you on Scope as well he is very arrogant and not fantastic at what he does.

No he is ok to be fair just no resources or support from the man at the top

Where are they going to play then?

Well from the looks of it he's in Evo's candle jar. Am I missing something-Boddy hasn't really hidden that someone needs to go has he?

I think most on here believe he’s insisting on whatever or we don’t need to sell

I see it as he's insisting on an amount that will clear the books and anything less isn't enough on that basis. Though the pitch I'd be making in his position is a lot of wages are going to be freed up next summer and there'll be at least 3 fees to come in, perhaps 4 if Sheaf has a good season.

We just need to keep the holding pattern going for another year.

Have you ever seen Adamarola play? I know I haven't.

While he appears to have a lot of promise, I've no idea if he's better defensively or going forward, or where he will stand in the pecking order in relation to Bidwell, and I very much doubt you know any of that either!

Clearly you don't

I dont know? Perhaps it has been sorted? Doesnt seem a hot topic of debate?
The state of the pitch has been an issue but with one rugby club moving out who knows?

I mean the club would be stupid to accept a 9 million transfer fee made up of instalments with the first payment being just 500k. Fair play for playing hardball

Burnley are looking at other options currently, according to reports. They can't bid and buy everyone obviously.
For me it will come down to how teams are progressing come January. If we are top 6 our players will not be going anywhere. If we are bottom end and say Burnley top 3 or 4 then I think he goes. But then again if we are bottom end, does that make him not the player they thought he was?
TBH think we will be top 6 and so will Burnley!

Seems I may be correct...

I thought we were one of the better performing teams in the league , with regards to losses ? I’m buzzing he’s staying wouldn’t seem right watching him play against us this season .. fair play to him, I genuinely believe he loves playing for the club . I think the club undervalued the prices they charged for corporate last year , I think they’ve gone up across the board about £200 per head ( ours has ) and season ticket sales and walk up are getting stronger so maybe the scales are slowly tipping in regards to us always having to sell our gems at meagre prices

Bidwell will be one of our highest paid players so if he’s a reserve it’s a catastrophic decision to buy him
Because of the way we play and having five subs I can see us subbing the wing backs in most games to maintain an intensity and prevent burnout/injury.

Although this is MR so it'll probably be after 88mins.

No not at all. I think we have an amateur CEO whose last job was a disaster we have owners who are going to get their pound of flesh either way and now we are as in 2011 rapidly running out of money

It’s no secret we wanted and believed we could offload Hamer - someone i think you rated - and no one wants him, o hare the deal upfront clearly also is a poor return.

We.have.no.money.

We are going to be in a financial muddle very quickly and remember the winter break also means no cash flow in those months
There's still a long way to go in this window, not to mention the January one.

Given the first offer was £3.5 million and the second was around £5 million it’s clearly a concern as our assets aren’t worth as much as we believed . I did show on a pretty straightforward analysis the club will lose £6 million this year - how are we bridging the gap in your view? We lost over £4 million in the first year back and so I’d assume far more last season - it’ll never bother Mr binary but how’s it being funded

The short term loan has been raised - how’s that being paid off?

We have gambled on offering contracts to sell - no one wants hamer at all and no one wants o hare at enough to ensure we remain stable

We can’t survive without a sale or we borrow at eye watering rates

What’s your answer?

To be fair, the answer isn't selling players for less than they are worth. A lot of the window left yet anyway.

Boddy was highly thought of at Newport. Turned them from a non league club into ready for League status after a long absence. I believe they were sorry to see him leave. Worcester City were already a basket case before he joined.
How is he rated by Worcester city fans oh and by the fans of Pershore town and Evesham Utd.
