I'm coming from the west country which, although doesn't seem far, is actually in the 1990s so I have to travel through time.
Knowing the state of the British roadways especially the M4 if you set off the same time singers pore will proberly get to London before you do !!

Cheers CJ!
I'd just turned 9 in May '87. Watched all the build up and the match on tv in my full city kit and 2 scarves - my regular one and a cup final scarf my parents had bought me, together with an advance match programme . Didn't think anything more of it at the time, was just a city mad kid watching my team in the cup final who loved his new gifts.
Just before I moved out here 10 years ago, was having a pint with my Dad and don't remember how it came up now but we were talking City and something to do with the cup final was mentioned.
Suddenly my Dad just started bawling his eyes out and saying how sorry he was he couldn't take me to Wembley all those years ago because at the time they were in some financial troubles and he couldn't afford the blackmarket ticket prices. Daft bugger had been living with the guilt for 20 years. So finally there's another chance to go, and this time I'm going to make sure I get a ticket so he can finally let it go!

I didn't take my lad also, he was just 9 and remember most of Wembley was standing so he stayed home with his mates and had a party. Going this time and he's 39 but it's Wembley, Sky Blues at Wembley! doesn't matter if it's FA, League or the frigging egg cup, it's us at Wembley and if we got there again next year the clamour for tickets will be the same.

I just hope my Dad is watching, wherever he is, and knows I've made it to Wembley so that he can finally be at peace with himself*

* He's not dead. I just haven't spoken to him since he cried in public, in the pub.

I am also flying from Geneva with my son. No tickets yet though. I had no idea there were four other City supporters in Geneva! How do I get in touch?

At the pointy end
I'm currently on the space station, will be getting the Soyuz spacecraft to Kazakhstan and overnight to Wembley. Can I have a chaser as well?

Wow, who'd have thought Tim Peake was a Sky Blue. Good on ya mate.

I'm flying into Birmingham in a private jet with a group of mates from Marbella as we'll already be on a previously arranged stag week. Never had any faith in the boys that they could get to Wembley, that's me taught an expensive lesson.

Don't know how we are getting back though as we could only afford a one way charter.

Eeek!

Planning to come over from the north of France - so that's not very far at all.
Merde though - looks like I'll be lucky to get a ticket. Any plans for filling a pub with City?
