Transfer Rumour Panzo coming back? (1 Viewer)

OK, but it seems strange our top appearance player would go to Blues unless we want him off the wage bill. Thought the takeover had fallen through as they were not all they seemed, although I may be wrong (I often am). They do have all their falling down ground problems which restricts attendance and will cost a great deal of money to rectify. Really like Eustace and I think he turned them around from possible relegation favourites. I will be surprised if Bidwell makes the switch and we finish below Brum next year.
Think Eustace was assistant at QPR when Bidwell was there

OK, forgot about them. I suppose like Panzo and McInally they were peripheral. There is that argument sunk. Would love to sign McInally on a permanent. Still strong rumours of Panzo going to Rangers, although I would welcome him back.
Who?

Panzo is a useful squad player to have, but not worth 2.5M. I’d rather spend that much on McNally. I think Doyle is better than Panzo, but even he’s probably only worth 1.5-2M at most. Time to unearth more gems from Europe or lower leagues since it looks like DK doesn’t want to spend much in our most crucial transfer window.

Doyle is worth more than £1.5m-£2m ffs.

I think pretty much the whole football industry is on its hols still.

How do you know what King wants to spend ?
Most players are currently still under contract at other clubs / on their holidays
Give the guy a chance..

Panzo struggled for confidence after the Wexham defeat sending off, great first half of 22/23 but struggled post Wexham - I think his confidence was sot, grateful that goal was disallowed rightly for handball as would have had a damaging impact on his career / confidence.

Doyle just grew in confidence as the season progressed, he will be a great player.

Happy if we could get both of these and McNally

i’m a rangers fan, what like is this guy and does he warrant the price being mentioned?
He is a good young player, learning his trade. Given a good run in the team, his confidence will grow and fewer mistakes.
Worth 2.5m - maybe....though that is relying on you improving him (which is certainly possible) and adding value when you sell.
He has had a good half season with us and a disappointing second half of a season.
Personally, would like him back, but don't think he would be good value for us at 2.5 m (give our financial position).

After the pre season Panzo had I thought he’d be banging in goals like Big Reda Johnson.

He did alright, but not worthy of £2.5m

Beale is becoming a pain in the backside. Did it last year with JCS too. I would have liked Dujon Sterling back seeming as we need a RWB and thought he was better for us than BNC was

Is it me or is there an increasing number of managers who’s recruitment strategy is “players CCFC are after”?

Random Sunderland forum rumour is that they're going back in for Doyle for another season. A few responses saying they're overloaded with CBs. Can't see what it'd achieve or that he'd want to go back there personally.

And to be fair to Panzo, I can't see the Rangers rumour panning out. He's still relatively untested in British football. We've been saying he'd be good here but only with experienced support next to him. And if Rangers are planning on him being backup for European competition, he's got a lot of learning before that happens.

Think it’s certain Doyle will be loaned out again if it’s to a championship club why not us again, be good for him, us and perhaps longer term Man City.
I like Panzo but Doyle is the better of the two by a distance.

He’d be able to follow through with some of the progress he‘s made with us. It‘s a waste of time him going to a lower Championship club. Sunderland would of course be an option. If he likes getting games then he needs to go out again. He’s certainly impressed for a lad that age. I’ll be disappointed if we don’t get him again. We seem to have a way of developing some players for the good.

If he was going on loan to a championship club he would be coming back to city.

Personally I think Man City will want him to experience a different country like Belgium or Holland where he will still get more game time.

That said, are those countries top leagues better than the championship… I’m not so sure.

Surely we can get much better than Panzo!
Let's face it, he is shite!!!

He hasn't had much of a look in but depending on how much he costs, I think he would be a good signing... and don't call me Shirley.

(If I'm honest, don't really care if we sign him. I just couldn't resist)

Vik to Burnley for £18 mil with McNally coming back here for £2 mil as a makeweight. This is purely speculation, before the CET jump on it for clickbait purposes. 🤣
Keeping it somewhat on topic, I think we should/could do better than Panzo, unless MR and AV see some serious growth in him.
