Do not underestimate Portsmouth at home or we will come a cropper. We need to be on it at the back. We have better players but they have a good manager and are improving at home. Another Millwall away performance called for.

We will concede without doubt. However I think we will nick it 1-2

I'm going on Saturday, really excited for it my first long distance away day in years. I went university in Bournemouth and a lot of my friends I lived with are in Southampton so staying there the night after.

Train down from Coventry at 8.30ish I think.

Mine too. If memory serves, we had a goal disallowed before Rose's equaliser, didn't we?

Think that was also from a long throw in from roughly the same place as Rose's equaliser, can't remember what it was disallowed for, though.
Shipley had a half decent chance to win it in injury time as well.

Just wish I still lived on the Isle of Wight. 10 minute hovercraft journey and be at FP by noon! Ah well. Just have to watch it on Sky. 😔

We always seem to lose when I make the away trip so sorry in advance to those travelling!

Freak goal fest. Unleashed mayhem and defensive cock ups, scuffle and fights, both teams down to 10 men by half time.
5-5. With three goals in stoppage time between the two. Your ticket price well worth the entertainment.

For us, Simms, Simms, Simms, O.G., and EMC for a last gasp equalizer.

Collins will stay in goal for the next game, why would you change it after a win where he's made two good saves? Would probably keep the same back 5 bar Bidwell in for Da Silva. Would probably go with Simms over Bassette too but otherwise unchanged.

This made me LOL.

"Why change it?"
"I'd keep it the same"
"I'd change left backs"
"I'd change up front"
"but unchanged"

Football ruins the mind.

I think it will be Eccles, Bidwell and Simms to start replacing Torp, DaSilva and Bassette, otherwise same.
Though to tell you the truth I would like Lampard to pull a flanker out of the hat to confound the Pompey manager.

This is what I think the team will be.

He won't play all 3 games.
It wasn't that long ago he could barely last 15 minutes.
If I've underestimated his fitness and he can start all 3 then great but I doubt he will.
Feel like i'd rather rest him for Plymouth personally. Enjoying this new midfield setup and Pompey away is definitely the harder game.

I'm thinking given its an away game he might bench him and go a bit more defensively and play a bit more on the front foot in the home games
