I think Bassette is decent and lively and will imrpove with time but I really think we should be giving Simms a run of games. He has done ok when he's come on recently and seems more suited to the lone striker role. He just needs to get a goal or two ad he'll be off I think. That said we will have a conundrum when Wright is fit. I suspect others will get injured though so we will have to use the squad.

He’s been banned a few times now hasn’t he?

I think so. I've heard stories about him being so pissed that he's fallen down the gangways a few times, then there was the time he dressed as a women to go into the womens toilets - not sure if that was in F.Park to be fair.

I'm sure a mate of mine said he always gets smashed before KO and often staggers in late.

The most common thing I hear about him though (other than him being a Librarian) is about his body odour.

Thankfully, I've never been close enough to catch a whiff.

He’s not a librarian. He runs an antique book shop.

A lot reference his odour on other forums I notice

He was banned once against us for obscene gestures and another time for using the female toilets claiming he was identifying as a woman

Yeah, I corrected myself above post #155

And I also mentioned about the female toilets on post #153

C'mon G - If you're going to respond to my posts, at least read them ;-)

I've just been talking about him in the co-working space I work at here in Pompey and a few of the guys in here are Pompey fans and the first thing they've said is about his odour.

Libraria - just outside Petersfield m8
As a young-un, I used to work at the factory on the hill where Petersfield station is (Lavant St?) Lunchtimes we used to leg it to The George pub and see how many pints we could down in an hour. Then back to work and back on the forklift m8

Problem Oops GIF

Ha ha! I worked in a call centre in the centre of Portsmouth in my early 20's, fresh out of uni and our boss had a similar mindset. Over to Guildhall at lunchtime to the Walkabout and the Fleet and have a few pints at lunch.

Suffice to say our call cancellation rate declined in the afternoon due to quality control.

Remember, when we start losing, don’t make a kneejerk heat of the moment comment. Or I’ll get the high horse hindsighters on you.

Loved the 3-3 match although I never went. Would have loved to reread the social media throughout the game for that one.

Last time I watched us at Portsmouth we lost 2-0 and Patrick Agyemang scored. Patrick Agyemang.

Didn’t think we could sink any lower and we still bloody did.
