Hoping Ipswich decide to go ahead on Hamer and Ahmedhodzic after this.

Feel a bit for Ipswich, they did well up until just before Liverpool scored. But now Liverpool have turned it up a notch. Not great defending for the second, though.

It never looked great on paper at Championship level to me. Brilliant manager and momentum though.

Agreed. It shows what you can do when you have a good manager who knows how to get the best out the players. Bielsa also got Leeds up with a very average side who mainly got found out when he left/they moved elsewhere.

Liverpool aren't all that either.

Players like Gravenberch, Gakpo, Quansah etc. are hardly world class. Obviously, they are not going to struggle but think they might have a bit of a fight on their hands for top 4.

Doesn’t sit right with me that Arsenal haven’t signed a proper CF (Gyokeres). I know they’ve brought Calafiori for LB and Timber is like a new signing, but a lot of pressure on them this season, no more excuses or falling short.

Not a good start for Everton, squad looks poor on paper and they lost their best player in the summer.

Might be another case of relying on the 3 newcomers just being worse.

This may well be the season Everton drop, they are awful.

Just watching some highlights and fair play to Danny Welbeck, still scoring goals at the highest level after all these years and so many bad injuries.

He’s never been a double figures goalscorer in the prem, and never really got a consistent first team run at Arsenal, but always a handful and has been pretty reliable at Brighton.

Impressed by Villa yesterday, Emery will have them pushing for Champions League again for me

Won't be popular for saying it on here but they are probably one of, if not the best ran club in the country atm
