The last league win i think would be the 4-1 where Bjarni Gudjonsson scored twice and missed a pen. He looked like an absolute world beater that day (or night, think it was a night game.)
I believe it was more ‘recent’ where Michael Doyle scored a screamer to win the game in 2007.

When was the last time we drew at Deepdale, was it the last minute Franck Moussa wonder strike?

Edit: Think we got a 0-0 there a few years ago?

Not worried 3-1 win. I said that we would beat hopeless Blackburn and we will do the same to this lot.

If we manage to get a result at PNE, I might need to lie down in a dark room until I realise it wasn't a dream. I've always found their ground to be incredibly depressing!

My team for Saturday, taking into account international games [BTA selected, as he's only sat on the bench for Ghana's games]:

Dovin
MVE Thomas Binks JDS
Sheaf Eccles
Rudoni
Saka BTA EMC

Subs
Collins
Kirching
Lati
Torp
Andrews
Simms
Wright
Bassett
Tavares

Got a horrible feeling about this game. I think it could be Robins last game if we get soundly beaten
If things don’t go right in this next batch of six, then I think that’ll be it.

will be 15 games into the season

ideally need 6 out of 9 this week

He’ll get the QPR game too.

I do think that could potentially be his last if we lose dismally in both though. Two losses would make it our joint worst start since we returned to the championship (with 20/21, first year back). And being cynical you’d want a manager to get a few games under their belt before the Sunderland/Sheff U/Burnley run of fixtures.

Was definitely a night game as he scored a header which seemed like he hung up in the air for about 10 seconds before powering it home!

Was either just before or just after we smashed Millwall 4-0 to cement Black’s ‘legacy’ and then old monkey head turned up and ruined everything.

Ignoring the ‘Deepdale curse’ they are exactly the sort of team we always struggle against. I imagine they’ll be pretty physical and press us aggressively. Sheffield Wednesday, Norwich and Swansea will have given them a decent blueprint on how to beat us.

2-0 Preston.

I watched the last Welsh match with Bellamy in charge. The coaching team obviously have limited time to work with the players; there were some non-established players in there; and yet they played fluid, high press, accurate and quick passing football.
How have we got it so wrong with all the time pre-season and early season to get performances?!
Hopefully, Preston will be the game to start getting it right.
