Pretty Confirmed Now (1 Viewer)

I am pretty confident now

SISU withheld rent in order to distress ACL and buy the mortgage.

Council were bullied into accepting the idea. Begrudgingly went along with it but really did not want to get into bed with SISU.

Council saw a glimmer of hope when Mr Haskell came on the scene.

Council attempted to outmanoeuvre SISU.

They bought the mortgage for its true value and not what SISU were going to try and screw out of the Yorkshire bank.

They believed SISU left with an reinvigorated ACL would either agree a low rent and try and make the club a success in order to sell it or they would sell up to the highest bidder.

Mr Haskell would then buy both the club and ACL.

You can see why this was attractive to the council.

Ms Seppala decided not to take it lying down.

From the day this happened she was never going to sign a rental agreement.

In order to keep the FL on side it needed to look like it was about unaffordable rent and F & B.

However it never was.

Ms Seppala's new plan was not sell CCFC for 10 million or agree a cheap rent.

Her new plan was to leave the stadium empty for 5 years and buy both the Higgs and the Councils share at a distressed business price.

Move the football club back in automatically making it a viable business and sell it for a large profit.

Recouping her investment.

With this latest interview it is now more likely than not that she did say to ACL I am only coming back as owner and at my price.

It is also more likely than not that she said in the mean time I will continue to hit you with expensive litigation.

Hence the appeal on a matter that was pretty much laughed out of court.

Why appeal something that you have no chance if winning that costs you money?

Also if Ms Sepalla is telling the truth that she is not interested in the Ricoh then why continue the expensive litigation that you can't win?

I am pretty sure now it is 100% about the Ricoh and no new ground will be built.

So this can only be decided by ......

Council sell to SISU
Council find a new tenant

I can't see the council selling to SISU.

I think if they start genuine negotiations with someone else, then SISU would come back and buy the Higgs share.

In the meantime until November 28th we won't hear much from the council. So we will not know what they are up to.

Instead I think we will hear plenty from SISU cranking up the pressure.

It's funny how the same people who for so long denied that there was any such HOT (signed) agreement, are now conceding there was, but true to form, are now trying to invent reasons why the council were right to pull out at the last minute.

I totally agree with the OP.

Joy actually referred to building a new stadium as being "a dream". I think she was probably thinking "a pipe dream".

Also, she was extremely vague in terms of what a new stadium and the surrounding buinesses would look like. Her vagueness regarding the details of the new stadium leave me with no doubt at all that the stadium is simply a threat to ACL/CCC. She claims to have been looking at a new stadium for 2 years. And yet she has no site arranged, no planning applications, and she has admitted that no firm proposals have been made to investors about land development.

What kind of mugs does she take us for?

ACL themselves said at the time a HOT agreement was made, who denied that?

No they didn't, they were referring to a revised rental agreement and that 'handshake'. The HOT referred to by JS and TF previously is the one relating to the purchase of the 50% stake in ACL at the end of last year - and I have argued with people on here about that endlessly.

THis bit....as far as i'm aware, the council and SISU had agreed to essentially split this, both taking on the same level of debt and increasing the equity. But the council instead decided to take on the entire £14m themselves.

Remember what sisu are and do? they buy distressed businesses. All seppala is doing is mind games with the fans, it's called blag a story hope people fall for it, once they are hooked keep them on the hook
Fans, the team are just the vehicle they are using to get their ultimate goal the stadium and the land round it.

Pretty sure ACL have always admitted that, that is one I am referring to

I think Ms Seppala herself has said the council paid 14 which is more than they should have paid for it?

there is no point disecting who said what !!!
Especially when one is allegedly proven a liar in a court of law !!!
Because of this you would have to doubt or take with a pinch of salt what was said in the interview !!!
If anyone sees this differently please explain ?

Hallelujah!

It seems the penny has finally dropped!

Now we need them to engage the Council and ACL to buy the Stadium at a FAIR PRICE so we can get back to the Ricoh and start
supporting our Team.

OR

Ride off into the Sunset with their tails between their legs having been shamed in to everyone FINALLY seeing what they really are and give
an alternative owner the opportunity to turn thing round before its too late!

How can someone allegedly be proven a liar in court? What are you on about?

Hello Grendel.....Looking to pick a fight yet again? You know as well as I that a certain judge called JS's recollection of events into question.

You just have to love the way you will argue even when you know everyone knows the truth. And it isn't the only time a judge has said the same.

I thought the only HOT that SISU had signed that had been confirmed by the other side was with the Higgs and SISU/CCFC walked away. That's the only one I know of that anyone apart from SISU/CCFC has confirmed existed, I've never seen the distress ACL/YB/Mortgage one confirmed by anyone other SISU/CCFC - has this changed?

So has Fisher and nobody believed him ether Funny how the 2 quiet ones now have come out fighting and Fisher has gone all Quiet sorry but it stinks even more now. Just a damage limitation exercise in my opinion.

Thank you Jack; I couldn't be arsed to look for it.

So, she was found guilty of lying in court then? Sorry can't see that on the link?

Grendel you are looking even more pathetic now......arguing with yourself. You know as well as any of us that JS has been proved to be a liar on more than one occasion so just give it a rest. Simply look for mitigation for her in order to advance your case.
