Remember the first time playing emlyn Hughes and crying with laughter when I heard the farty sound effects!I didn't like Kick Off because of the control method that had the ball continue along even when you tried to change direction, I get that they wanted to add more skill and not have the ball stick to a player's foot but it felt more like a Subbuteo sim than a football one.
Emlyn Hughes' Soccer on C64 was my first love though, after a love-hate relationship with the basic football cart that came before. If I tried to compile a list of all the football games I've owned it'd probably make for some serious spending.

Never played the God of War series, but Last of Us is top 5 all-time for me.
I don't know if you've been on PSN+ before, but whenever they have new games you should add them to your library which keeps them available to you for free even if you don't ever bother downloading.

I don't go near manual passes, I don't have the dexterity for it with the sticks. Any golf game I have to adjust my shot for the natural hook I put on it every time.
yeah arcade right up your alley
Yet there's little worth in assessing soccer sims by the weight of their game modes, or indeed, the breadth of their official licences. All that truly matters is what unfolds in those virtual ninety minutes, either against a friend, an online stranger, or the computer. On that test alone, PES 2016 represents the best game in the series since the PlayStation 2 era.
gamespot - 9/10
