If we play them, it's war.

Bunch of cunts.

#Falklands
Must admit, I'm torn. Obviously want to beat them, but whilst I detested Maradonna (the handball really boiled my p*ss) and have never liked Argentina players, Messi doesn't act like a prima donna (although the refs love him) and doesn't do the 'in your face' stuff that the others do, Really struggle to dislike him. all the others - yes.

Torn between what?

Infantino directly has a link to the refs earpiece - Argentina must win - he needs reps from all around the world in the semis

I have a feeling that fifa will do everything in their power to engineer an Argentina vs Portugal or Messi vs Ronaldo final.
Im expecting a few ‘interesting’ decisions in the next few games.

Surely no one would want the Falklands in the hands of these cunts? Heck I think this might be cause enough to take the mainland.

Id normally agree but stuff like the 18 rolls when he ran into a player, the not getting booked for pulling the ball out the air with his hand and the like has really soured me TBH. He’s the best in the world there’s no need for it and it cheapens him.

This view shows Dutch naughty as well

ref lost control. Shambles

I've never really had any thoughts on Argentina other than Falklands and they have a knack of developing very good if often cunty footballers. But last night they were utter wankers.

As people can't seem to do anything other than compare him with Ronaldo, he's by far the lesser of 2 evils. Ronaldo is a smug, arrogant prick.

It’s from the same footballing culture that sees cheating as an art, just like Portugal.

Oh definitely. And a far better player IMO. He’s just no Pele. There seems to be something in Argentinian football culture that just rubs me up the wrong way but Messi less so but it’s still there.

Hes also the only Argentinian player that doesn’t look like the sort of bloke who would try and shag your missus in front of you. So there’s that.

Yeh them too, don't get me started on Portugal. There was a few Portuguese in my college in Leam and they'd even dive during kickabouts too

I would also say at this tournament out of the ‘big’ players, he has actually put in the best performances.

All that notwithstanding, no act of cheating pissed me off more than that guy at Hull who fell down in one corner of the pitch and got play stopped while we were in their half. Then he immediately jumped up to his feet

I love how you hold grudges for niche incidents, I'm all about that.

I am curious @CJ_covblaze Can you enlighten us? How do the Argentina fans get hold of so many tickets for the games? Have they mostly been there for the whole tournament, and you just know, whoever they play in the final (should they beat Croatia), it will be about 80% Argentina, 10% the opposition (if that) plus the select few snaffling the rest. How are they getting all those tickets? I'm baffled (fantastic support, even if their footballers have 'attitude'.

Grant Wahl dying inside the Lusail stadium at 48, just a few hours after he’d posted another World Cup story (this one criticising the Qatari authorities) is pretty chilling stuff.

I don't think anyone of the matches have sold out at this World Cup. I believe it is easy enough to get tickets but very expensive.

I could be wrong but I think a lot of locals and ‘neutrals’ are decked out in Argentina gear to bum Messi.

The commentators mentioned when the Dutch had a lot of the ball yesterday that the whistling was mainly coming from locals who wanted to watch Messi.

Controversial view here but if that was Cov there are people on here who would be loving it. It would be the type of top shithousery, which people used to love Shipley for.

There was obviously a lot of bad feeling between the sides and the Dutch were hardly innocent.

Sorry you can’t both sides this is you watched the game. And yes I am biased but still. The Dutch weren’t pulling out the dark arts and didn’t have a player the red wouldn’t allow to be tackled or booked. They also didn’t hammer a ball into the opposition bench.
