Worst thing of all, that's Southgate's dadHow i feel
No way , couple on there much better managers than Southgate that play better more expansive football too
Didn't realise this and actually yes you're correct , it's never happened in the world cupForeign managers hardly ever win trophies
Not the most inspiring of lists though is it?No way , couple on there much better managers than Southgate that play better more expansive football too
I think howe has already proven he is a much better football manager than Gareth SouthgateNot the most inspiring of lists though is it?
Brendan Rogers 3rd favourite? Get to fuck!
Too soon for both Potter and Howe.
Didn't realise this and actually yes you're correct , it's never happened in the world cup
Quite an amazing stat then , I guess being able to relate culturally and emotionally is bigger than I thoughtthe only one in the euros was the German guy with Greece
He’s just won a European trophy, wouldn’t say he’s done at the top yetThis would have been a good call in about 2007, not now though. He's done at the very top now, wouldn't want him anywhere near the job.
Giroud has more World Cup goals than Henry. Giroud has been better for France than Henry then I guess. Henry and France finished bottom of the group in 2002. Tbf they had the mighty Senegal and Denmark in their group.Giroud being Frances all time top scorer shows you how much the games changed, about a million levels below Tierry Henry .
Would be very happy with Howe, although think he’s on the road to big things at Newcastle.
Always felt foreign managers hearts wouldn’t be in it. Rest of the list is a bit anticlimactic. Also Mourinho is poisonous, damaged goods.

The relegation in the Nations League or whatever it's called seems to get downplayed too - doesn't it mean that England would then have to play a 'top tier' team during qualification games in future? Also that's 3 competitive wins in the last 11 competitive games ..
Time to go
We’ve got Italy in the qualifiers in March, was that the result of relegation? The relegation in the Nations League or whatever it's called seems to get downplayed too - doesn't it mean that England would then have to play a 'top tier' team during qualification games in future?
Yes , don't matter thoughWe’ve got Italy in the qualifiers in March, was that the result of relegation?
Oh I don't give a shite about Messi. I hope Morocco win it.Ignoring the fact Henry won both the WC and Euro with France then I guess your argument would hold weight .
Messi has a chance to win this world cup , your dream is still alive
I altered my reply to you , I guess you're right.Oh I don't give a shite about Messi. I hope Morocco win it.

The Nations League is for the Euros, isn't it?It won’t be that hard as it’s 48 teams in it next time - even Italy should make it through
I'm sure I read somewhere that Europe only gains 3 more spots though. Not sure if that's enough to do away with playoffs and just have top 2 from each group qualify. It won’t be that hard as it’s 48 teams in it next time - even Italy should make it through
could also be down to the fact that our top division is full of foreign managers. A quick look at the likes of France, Germany, Italy etc suggests that's not the same elsewhere. therefore if those nations are looking for a new manager the chances of them even considering a foreigner are lowQuite an amazing stat then , I guess being able to relate culturally and emotionally is bigger than I thought
With regards to Maddison it’s a shame he wasn’t used but I think it’s more down to him either not being fully fit or available at all for the group stage. At that point so many came in and scored, created and generally excelled. Once that happened it was difficult to not play them when given the opportunity. It’s not Maddison’s fault he was injured and it’s pure bad luck it came at that point. A victim of circumstance. The ones I’m finding a bit mor strange are Gallagher and to a lesser extent, Coady.
What possible qualities does Eddie Howe have to be an England manager?
If you don't want a foreign manager who are you selecting as Southgates replacement? What possible qualities does Eddie Howe have to be an England manager?
Worst performance of last eight = failure? Wow. You must want Robins out half the time!We can't go into the next tournament with Southgate, he's failed 3 times , he's had his time
